🌿 Hello, Friend
A Monday of Quiet Whispers and Perfect Timing
Today was one of those days na hindi ko talaga plinano… pero parang si God, naka-setup na lahat quietly behind the scenes.
I went to Vancouver for a quick follow-up appointment. On the way, I passed by Holy Rosary Cathedral, and may maliit na boses sa heart ko na nagsabi:
“Balikan mo ’yan mamaya.”
So I kept it in mind.
After my appointment, I didn’t go right away. I just waited until I felt like walking back. And when I finally went, sakto pag-akyat ko ng stairs, the staff opened the doors. Right timing. It felt like God gently letting me in.
I sat down, prayed, wrote in my journal—just a quiet moment with my thoughts. Then I noticed they were already preparing for the 5 PM Mass. It was only 4 PM, so I told myself I’d leave soon.
Pero ayun… God had other plans.
As I stood up, I realized my gold necklace fell off. Kinabahan talaga ako. I thought I lost my Jesus & Mary pendant somewhere sa kalsada. I looked under the chairs, and there it was—safe, waiting for me.
Right there, naramdaman ko talaga:
“Anak, stay a little longer with Me.”
So I stayed.
I prayed the rosary.
I waited for the Mass.
And I felt so much peace—yung tipong hindi ko hinahanap, pero binigay Niya.
Today reminded me that God speaks in simple moments…
sa timing, sa mga bagay na akala natin nawala,
and sa gentle nudge na, “Wait, wag ka muna umalis.”
