I was raised by family-oriented parents and grand parents who always wanted the best for us, so likewise as parents, too, we wanted the best life for our children and thus, why we moved here in Canada. Our family life in Canada started in Toronto. I came here as a student and pursued Project Management Post-Graduate Course in Humber College IGS Campus. My first job here was a part-time cleaner. I cleaned houses and condos, and I started to dream of having our own place. Eventually, I got hired as a weekend move-in coordinator in a rental property management company, and when they opened a concierge position in another building, I did not hesitate to apply for it. When I finished my study, I was hired as an EDI analyst in a food distribution company. During this time, having multiple jobs is an absolute blessing and I am so grateful to God that I got hired for these jobs and that the employers were so warm and kind. However, it wasn't the Canadian life I dreamt of. I wanted to have a job, to be a responsible, "present" parent for my kids, to have a comfortable home and a car and to live a healthy life free from financial stress and worries. I wasn't dreaming of becoming a millionaire, but I want a life well-lived for us and our extended families back home. I wanted to give back to my parents, and to share our resources with churches and foundations. My ultimate aspiration was to build a senior care home in the Philippines. I knew that I still had spare time to have a flexible work so I can generate more income, and I knew that it can only be through the internet. That's when I found an amazing digital business opportunity! I became a digital business owner in 2023 and I am enjoying my life ever since! I feel secured knowing that I have a backup plan in case anything happens with my employment. I know that I will not be working for a very long time because I wanted to retire early and I wanted a retirement that I can enjoy, so I am happy I'm able to start building wealth through the power of the internet, social media and automation. We moved to Windsor in 2024 and now that I quit my two part time jobs, I am able to give more time to my kids, while I work from home. We now rent our own space (hopefully we'll be able to buy our own soon once we become Permanent Residents), and we now enjoy more fun times together! Planning our upcoming trip feels so much more exciting now that he’s 9. 🥹❤️

The last time he traveled around Asia, he was only 4. He barely remembers the experience, and the only way he can look back on it is through the photos we took.

But this time is different. He’s old enough to understand the adventure, imagine all the things he’ll see, and get genuinely excited about the memories we’re about to make.

And as for Kuya Marquee… I’m just grateful that he’s still willing to travel and spend time with us while he can, before college gets busy and life starts taking him in new directions. ❤️

Time is flying by so fast. One minute, they’re little kids holding your hand, and the next, you’re planning around school, growing independence, and the next chapter of their lives.

It makes you realize that some things can wait, but these moments with our family? We can never get them back.

Maybe that’s why I’ve been thinking more about creating a little more flexibility in life. Not just for travel, but for those ordinary days, family adventures, and unexpected moments with the people who matter most.

And somewhere along the way, I realized that exploring opportunities beyond my full-time job could be one small step toward that possibility. No overnight success or big promises, just learning, growing, and building something at my own pace.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not really about having a perfect life.

It’s about creating more room for the life we truly want to live. ❤️

Today, my mentee launched his very first ad campaign! 👏

And honestly, this is what I love about mentoring — watching someone move from learning about the business to actually taking action and building something of their own. ❤️
