Every time I’ve been scared of what’s ahead, life has eventually shown me that the best things happened after I found the courage to take the next step.

Chronic illness and going blind was hard. There were moments when I couldn’t see a way forward and honestly had no idea what my future would look like.

But every chapter I thought would break me ended up shaping me instead.

The life I have now is everything I could have dreamed of and experiences I never would have found if I had stayed where it was comfortable.

Sometimes being brave isn’t about feeling fearless. It is moving forward anyway.

Looking back, I’m thankful I did.
