Good evening all, in 2 weeks time I will be mentoring a ‘Run & Gun’ Camera & Lighting club for the I will write the film project & be there to share my knowledge and experience.

For this specific project I am looking for 1/2 (max 3, but i can add more just want to make sure of availability) *non-union actors* for a volunteer shoot & who would be interested in doing a shoot over the space of about 4-5 hours for July 31st in the afternoon/evening.

For crew- as the poster suggests- we would like extra hands to help/observe & learn 🙂 I’ll be sharing some resources via Discord ( https://discord.gg/Gf5GSvvg ) if you are looking to shoot, or help shoot a short film, then come out and we will be providing snacks and food!

I may also be dropping in within the next week in the afternoon/evening at the Winnipeg Film Group to write the script for a writers club!

So feel free to message me, message the group, add yourself to the discord and we can get this ball rolling!

Bro I’m so bad at posting on social media nowadays! This is from the 10th Anniversary of the of which I’m so honoured to be proud of! Date night in was amazing! Went to Dollarama and bought some paint stuff and put on Home Alone 6 and cooked a roast. We spent the evening making potatoes, gravy, corn & pork roast then painted Fortnite Christmas themed stuff & played a few games (lose badly lol sweaty lobbies) also watched a couple My Hero episodes. It’s bed time and we’re tuckered out! Thank you for being my bestie you make life worth living! Let’s do it all again tomorrow! Lol

BLOG: thank you for inviting us to Ottawa🤟🏽🤩 what an honour it was to be by your side while this monumental occasion. I’m humbled by your talent and generosity. As someone who gets to work alongside you and observe the painstaking approach you take to your art as well as the devotion to the craft of moving picture I can say I see mastery in all you do. I pride myself in the way I try to perceive art- you’re so influential and this past weekend goes to show that. Rockstar, stellar human, phenomenon individualist! Ekosi.
It was the first time and I visited the capital. We got to see my cousin and his adorable family as well as whom I promised to eventually go visit! And wouldn’t you know it- after NINE years we picked up exactly where we left off! Sorry & , had I know how hard going to “the island” would be (a toll booth, vehicle, time & geo-political intrigue just to name some) I would have prepared more! Now I understand and we will definitely try to come more often to this beautiful place ☺️😇.
Ottawa is crazy- strange and funny. I’m happy I got to go and experience it for myself. I left my jacket at a brunch place (which BTW was on someone’s blog as being the best in the city and both Junior and I say 10/10 would recommend) the city is so spread out not like Toronto haha and it’s pretty. There was no trash and it didn’t smell funny (where we went and when we did) unlike soooome places (Winnipeg). But I can’t imagine living there either. Literally everyone I people watched was a f*cking pundit. I could not care less about anyone’s bu****it. But hey that’s just me. My bad for going when that stupid as*hole got r*elected hahaha but, experience: 8.5/10, city: 7/10, gay? 8/10, cool? 7/10, fam?? 10/10, friends??? 10/10. Overall??? 9.5/10!
P.s. I bought ear warmers they’re amazing. Kk that’s all gn love you.

I can’t believe we’ve come this far. I went to ColourReversal in March of 2022 in now because my friend who later I found out was actually a cousin asked me if I wanted to act in a project about a Métis rapper. Now in October of 2024 the world is getting to see a whole ass movie we shot where I play a fictional version of myself alongside said cousin! Oh MAN what a time to be alive. I wish I could have come but unfortunately I’m busy working in Winnipeg. Thank you all for the opportunity- for thinking of this insane idea, Gavin for thinking of asking me, for your eye- the film looks fantastic. You have a promising career ahead of you. You’re nice af, pretty chill, I fear D.o.P’s cause of some of them & thier egos but you were such a delight to work with. your portrayal of Dez was amazing playing the “straight man” really reminds of real people I know. I hope I get to work with you again! Butch! Ryan you annoyed me to no end sorry for the method acting I was trying to stay in character but I had no place to go playing myself. Honestly you’re a cool guy I’m sorry if I was actually being mean it wasn’t real I was just trying to get a real portrayal, you cool af. Bernadette, Trixie was the s**t, my cousins “hot piece” and wild child dating a rapper that’s the same age as your son mlaaaahhhh good cougar vibes right there! The whole cast was sick, the whole crew, SICK! We made a movie & it’s in Toronto! I can’t wait to see it in Winnipeg!

- side note: went for a doctor check up, I’m 306 pounds & I have a normal blood pressure, no new allergies, shots updated (tetanus) & everything normal. The skies were insane last night. I randomly decided to go for a midnight stroll. I didn’t know where I was going but the street lights pointed be down Corydon. When the lights stopped passing overhead I stopped and turned around. Up in the skies I saw my ancestors dancing. It was so peaceful. What an amazing life. Ekosi, creator.

BLOG: Good morning Winnipeg well last week for a week got to go to Toronto for his first concert. We went to and it was such a fun, unique, cool experience. We realized that we don’t need to be someplace for long that we go often too for it to feel like forever lol. As much as I enjoy Toronto, I could never imagine living there. It’s far too much for me and I feel like Winnipeg is my home or at least where I meant to be.
We arrived on a Tuesday and left on a Tuesday, Junior pointed out to me that this is a week plus a day lol so I was mistaken in thinking that we were only going for seven days but since it’s only a three hour flight and we got there in the morning And we left in the afternoon we stayed a little bit longer. For this trip, I did not make an itinerary, but I wanted us to explore as much as possible and just enjoy being away from Winnipeg. We had such a good time and I’m thankful that we went for analogue resilience so I got to go toHanlin‘s point on the island. This time when we went, I was also grateful for global warming because it was so hot. We got to go to the beach and go for a little bit of a dip lol the summer weather was still in Toronto, but Winnipeg is very cold and I’m OK with that because I love sweater weather.
I also got the opportunity to develop a story, a little bit further for a feature film that I want to direct eventually based on my experience with video games. I’m not sure where my filmmaking journey will take me, but I think that my experience with YouTube and twitch Are definitely things I want to explore further. I’m so infatuated with the idea of Fame that I think almost all my projects that are bigger in scale and scope are about that lol.
I feel blessed that a lot of the people in my life understand that I think in terms of decades and years instead of months and weeks because I want the things that I put out to be thought about a lot and a lot of heart and soul going to what I make.
i’m also glad that my love had a wonderful time in the big city. There’s so much to explore and there’s so little time to do it so I’m glad that we get the chance to do it together. 😍🥰😘

BLOG POST: Today me & my baby went out for a day adventure in the fall weather. asked me what I wanted to do & I knew he wanted to go but I asked him “what do YOU want to do?” He said he wanted to go to the Oddly Curious market which was off Henderson Hwy. I said okay let’s go so we got ready. June got a new jacket recently and today he whipped it out and boy oh BOY is it nice! We both wore primarily brown fits today haha it was a nice day we took the bus since we no longer have a car & spent the afternoon out there. I got a bunch of stuff. It was nice😚
