Many people are not fully aware of the story behind Mr. Eazi’s success. Contrary to popular belief, music contributes to only about 20% or even less of his wealth. Long before achieving fame as an artist, Mr. Eazi had already established himself as a successful entrepreneur and millionaire—one of the reasons why his marriage to Temi Otedola, the youngest daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, came with ease and confidence.
Mr. Eazi did not come from a poor background. His father was a pilot who later founded an aviation consulting company. After completing his early education in Nigeria, Mr. Eazi relocated to Ghana, where he pursued and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). At the age of 23, he returned to Nigeria and began his career as a mechanical engineer with Schlumberger, a leading international oil and gas servicing company.
Beyond engineering and music, Mr. Eazi explored several business ventures. He once worked as a club promoter, founded an e-commerce company, and has since gone on to establish at least six other businesses. Today, at 34 years old, he is a seasoned businessman with companies operating across 18 African countries.
In addition, Mr. Eazi and his wife Temi Otedola now collaborate on various ventures, building on their shared passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. Together, they represent a new generation of power couples in Africa’s business and entertainment scene.
Simply put, Mr. Eazi is not just a music star—he is a visionary entrepreneur, a strategic investor, and a true big boy making a global impact.
