When the lawn tractor that runs the deck mower is out of order, and the fancy zero turn that you borrowed cuts about as good as wet spaghetti …. You pull out the trusty ol push jobby! lol A lot of steps and three fuel ups and the main yard is all trimmed.

A few weeks ago I thought we were pretty much done with grass cutting but all the rain, and the bunny bean fertilizer from tractoring rabbits has really made it sprout back thick and green.

I won’t complain though because I know soon I’ll be yearning for chores like this when we are freezing and burried in snow!

The cantry is getting stocked a little at a time! All of this work will be so appreciated when access to fresh, chemical free, nutritious fresh produce is gone this winter.

The true idiots of the farm. Not a brain cell to share between them. I’m not sure what caused this battle , we have no females 😂 but it was ongoing for hours. No mystery why their meat is tough lol

My cucumbers are 💩 this year. I mean it’s been a weird year fur gardening honestly. Paired with new ground and neglect … lol I had SO many blossoms. Then it got so hot and dry and I wasn’t set up to water ( we haul water so I wasn’t gonna run the hose out ). Though after the rains my garden is rebounding. The cukes are flowering like crazy. My really late second crop of peas is flowering. My beans have tons of new growth.

But I figured I’d do up some refrigerator dills with the few I had. I LOVE dill pickles.
