What can you actually do with AI in 2026?

Whether you’re a fashion designer, baker, technician, freelancer, business owner, content creator, virtual assistant, customer support professional, student, or entrepreneur, whether you work in tech or you don’t AI is already changing the way people work, create, solve problems and build businesses.

The question is: do you actually understand what you can do with it?

On Saturday, 29 August at 3:00 PM WAT, I’ll be hosting a FREE live webinar where I’ll break down what AI really looks like in 2026 and how you can position yourself to benefit from it.

You’ll learn:

What you can actually do with AI
The difference between AI tools, automation and AI agents
How AI is changing work and businesses
Practical ways to turn AI skills into income
How to start thinking beyond just “using ChatGPT”

You do not need to be a tech person to attend.

You just need to be someone who wants to understand where AI is going and how to use it more intentionally in your career, business or skill.

Live attendees will also receive Damilare’s AI Toolkit — a curated list of useful AI tools and what you can use them for.

Join me live.

Nobody told me this when I left my 9–5 and entered the virtual space…

Your digital skill is only one part of the journey. You also need relationships, problem-solving skills, patience, and tenacity.

And when the rejection gets overwhelming, REST. You’re allowed to breathe.

Don’t mistake rejection for a sign that you don’t belong here. Learn, adjust, and keep going. ❤️

Time management as a Virtual Assistant is NOT just about managing calendars. ⏰

It’s about how quickly and efficiently you can turn your work into useful results.

For example, after a client meeting, use AI to extract:
• Key decisions
• Deadlines
• Action items

Then proofread for accuracy and context.

AI should help you work faster—not replace your responsibility.

Remote work has no guaranteed job security. A client can decide tomorrow that they no longer need you. 😬

But having multiple clients isn’t automatically the solution. If your role requires your full attention, taking on too many clients can destroy your quality—and your reputation.

In the virtual space, protecting your reputation is one of your biggest forms of job security.

Would you rather have 1 or multiple clients?

Why you should not apply for every VA Jobs generically

Don’t let the title “Virtual Assistant” make you apply without strategy.
Behind every VA role is a real business problem.
Find the problem.

Position your skills around it.

Then apply with clarity.

14/08/2026

You’re not a “generic Virtual Assistant.”

You may have multiple skills, but you need a clear core strength.

If you’re good at executive support, apply for EA roles.
If you’re strong in customer support, apply for customer support roles.
If you have project management skills, apply for project coordinator roles.

Stop applying for every VA job the same way.

Learn multiple skills. But position yourself around the value you bring.

I made this mistake when I first transitioned into the VA industry—and I want you to avoid it.

What’s your core VA skill? 👇

Can we guarantee that every student will land a remote job after the mentorship?

No genuine training provider should promise that.

But what we can do is prepare you with the right tools, skills, systems, confidence, CV guidance, LinkedIn positioning, portfolio support, and application strategy.

Getting hired still requires effort, consistency, practice, and showing up.

But with the right preparation, you are no longer applying blindly.

You are positioning yourself better.

If you missed the webinar, watch the replay to understand how the 8-week mentorship works.

Most beginners make this mistake when trying to enter remote work:

They try to learn every popular digital tool before choosing the kind of work they want to do.

Canva. Trello. Slack. Asana. HubSpot. Notion. ClickUp. ChatGPT.

They complete several tutorials but still don’t know what service to offer or what job to apply for.

Here is a better approach:

First, choose a problem you want to help businesses solve.

For example:

• Keeping emails and calendars organised
• Responding to customers
• Managing projects and deadlines
• Creating social media content
• Organising business documents
• Supporting healthcare administration

Once you choose a direction, learn only the tools and skills required to perform that role well.

Tools are useful but employers and clients pay you for solving problems, not for collecting tool certificates.

What remote-work role are you currently interested in? Tell me in the comments, and I’ll suggest the most important skills to start with.
