AUTHORITY OF A BELIEVER
Luke 10:19, Mark 16:17-18, Matthew 18:18
Authority can be defined as the power or right to give orders, make decisions and enforce obedience. As a believer, you have unlimited authority to do and undo. You have the authority to deliver, liberate, bring what has not been in existence into being. You have the power to heal various kinds of diseases and infirmities. In John 1:12, the scripture says, "but as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in his name." Also, in John 14:12, it says, "I am telling you the truth, those who believe in me, will do even greater things because I am going to the Father."
If you believe, then you are a child of God and have limitless authority to do what the Lord did as specifically stated above and even do more because he has gone to the Father. You have the mandate to command what is invisible to the visible. Also, in Luke 10:19, the scripture says, "Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." You have the absolute power and authority to uproot and destroy all the power of the enemies while enjoying absolute divine security because you have divine immunity from harm.
Similarly, in Mark 16:17-18, the scriptures explained vividly, the authority, inheritance and signs that will follow the believers, adding that they will cast out demons, take up serpents, if they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them and they will heal the sick. In Matthew 18:18, it says that whatever you loose is loosed, and whatever you bind is bound. It is in alliance with what is written in Jeremiah 1:10, therefore, you have the power to plant, uproot, loose, bind, deliver, and heal all kinds of diseases, only if you can believe.
Perhaps, it is safe to state that if you believe, you have the embodiment of the above enumerated powers and authorities. As a believer, if you can manifest and apply the above stated powers diligently and meticulously, you will be considered as a dangerous man against all the powers of the enemies. In Act 3:2-9, Peter and John exercised the power at the beautiful gate when they healed a man who had been lame for a protracted period of time. Then Peter declared, "silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." He was completely healed.
All men are born equal, but it is anointing that makes the difference. Because you are connected to this program, the Lord will transform your life to a true believer. He will move from Grace to Grace, from anointing to anointing, and from glory to glory. You are taking over. You are rising. Your days of sorrow are over, in the name of Jesus. Your case is settled.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, by your power, let every power, human or spiritual waiting to destroy or hijack my blessings at the point of my breakthrough be destroyed in the name of Jesus.
2. My father, by your power, let every proclamation, declaration and sacrifice made and influencing my life negatively, be revoked and reversed, in the name of Jesus.
3. Oh Lord my God, by your power, let everything that is dead in my life, family and business be activated, resurrected, and restored to life, in the name of Jesus.
