Not borrowed.
Not assigned.
Not handed to you with a manual and a list of rules.

That’s what I’ve been doing.

I used to think I had to hustle to earn my worth.

My husband made good money, and for a long time... I thought that meant I had to do all the emotional heavy lifting in return.
I took care of everything.
The kids.
The house.
The schedules.
The worries.
The invisible load.
Along with all the "side" jobs like teaching preschool, running a restaurant franchise, all that brought in..."nothing"🥴

And deep down, I didn’t feel worthy of rest. It didn’t feel like contributing if I wasn’t working just as hard in a way that brought in a "real" paycheck. So I hustled... in every direction.

Not because he made me feel that way — he never did — but because somewhere along the way, I learned that love and value came from doing and sacrificing.

Today, I see it differently.
I work smarter.
I’ve built an income that flows with my life — not against it.
I earn online, from home, in a way that allows me to care for myself, show up for my kids, and still help with our finances.
And I do it alongside a man who’s always believed in me — even when I didn’t fully believe in myself.
I’m grateful for this life we’re building.
I’m grateful for the partnership we’ve grown into.
And I’m most grateful that I get to be present — not just physically, but emotionally — because I’m not running on empty anymore.

To the good ones — the quiet supporters, the soft place to land, the ones who just want to see us happy… thank you.
