An informed community is a resilient community!
Over the past three months, hundreds of farmers in North Kivu province have voluntarily registered using their phone numbers. They join more than 3,000 other active users of the interactive digital platform in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
All are committed to improving agricultural production, protecting their land, strengthening their food security, and learning about their rights via SMS using their regular cell phones (no internet or smartphones required).
This initiative is made possible thanks to the support of the European Union through the Global Youth Mobilization program.
