⚡🇨🇩 POLITICS : After its postponement by the Governorate of Kinshasa, Thursday, May 11 evening, the opposition rejected this decision as a whole. In an interview given to Motuya News, the secretary general of Martin Fayulu's party, Commitment for Citizenship and Development (ECIDé), Devos Kitoko, affirms that the march is maintained on the same date. “The march is maintained as planned on May 13, 2023 at 8 a.m. in the two routes that have been fixed (…) We are the organizers of the march and we have the power to decide according to what we want. Mr. Gentiny Ngobila as governor of the city does not have the legal power to postpone the marches of which he is not the organizer. He has the power after information, in accordance with Article 26 of the Constitution, to frame and secure demonstrations,” said Devos Kitoko.
