WHAT TO AVOID WHEN RAISING YOUR CHILD
1- Avoid giving your child everything they ask for. They will grow up believing they have the right to get whatever they want.
2- Avoid laughing when your child says insulting things. They will grow up thinking that disrespect is fun.
3- Avoid remaining insensitive to bad behavior that they can display without scolding them for. They will grow up thinking there are no rules in society.
4- Avoid picking up everything your child leaves a mess. They will grow up believing that others should take responsibility for them.
5- Avoid letting them watch any program on TV. They will grow up thinking there is no difference between being a child and being an adult.
6- Avoid giving your child all the money he asks for. He'll grow up believing that getting money is easy and won't hesitate to steal to get it.
7- Avoid always siding with him when he's wrong about his neighbors, teachers, or the police. He'll grow up thinking that everything he does is right; it's everyone else who's wrong.
8- Avoid leaving him home alone when you go to worship, otherwise he'll grow up thinking that God doesn't exist.
