Sacred Roots: Uncovering the Ancient Traditions that Celebrated the Power of African Women"
In the dawn of human civilization, a profound truth was etched into the annals of history. The earliest depictions of deities and legendary figures from around the world revealed a striking commonality: African features and dark skin tones.
From the revered Neteru of Kemet to the majestic pantheons of Asia, Europe, and the Americas, the presence of African ancestry was unmistakable. Buddha's earliest statues proudly wore African features and dark skin, while the Greek goddess Afrodite and hero Heracles were depicted with melanated complexions.
In ancient Rome, deities like Hermes and Isis bore witness to the African roots of human civilization. Even the original representations of the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ were cast in the image of black Africans.
Yet, as the ages passed, a subtle yet pervasive phenomenon occurred. The "bleaching" of these images, fueled by the rise of white supremacy, gradually erased the African presence from the historical record.
This forgotten legacy, however, holds the key to understanding our shared human heritage. As we uncover the truth about our ancient past, we may yet discover that the very foundations of human civilization were forged in the heart of Africa.
