📢 POWER INTERRUPTION ADVISORY

Time: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

We would like to inform our valued consumers that a scheduled Generating Unit Capability Test (GUCT) will be conducted on Wednesday, July 23, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. This is part of our compliance with the requirements for the renewal of our Certificate of Compliance (COC) with the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

The GUCT will involve the following generating units:
-Newly overhauled DG3 unit
-Newly installed 350kW genset
-One of the rental genset

Please be advised that temporary power interruptions may occur in some part of the service area during the testing period as part of the standard procedure.

In line with this activity, a short power shutdown will be necessary to safely transfer the load from the rental genset to the gensets undergoing testing. Rest assured, power will be restored immediately after the transfer and testing will commence thereafter.

⚠️ Reason:
This is to facilitate the replacement of substandard wooden poles with steel poles, as identified during the inspections conducted by the National Power Corporation (NPC), Department of Energy (DOE), and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

This activity is also being undertaken in compliance with the NPC’s Notice of Default, which mandates corrective action within a 90-day cure period upon receipt.

These upgrades are part of our continuing effort to provide a more reliable and safer power distribution system for our communities.

📢 POWER ADVISORY UPDATE!

With this, the load curtailment implemented this morning is now lifted, and we are resuming normal operations effective immediately.

📢 Power Advisory: Load Curtailment This Evening (May 5, 2025)

We would like to inform our valued customers that load curtailment will be implemented this evening due to the unexpected failure of one of our rental generator units. The issue stems from a burnt solenoid starter on the smaller genset, which has rendered it non-operational and unable to support the system load.

Replacement parts are expected to arrive tomorrow, and our technical team will immediately proceed with repairs to restore the unit back to service.

📢 SCHEDULED LOAD CURTAILMENT ADVISORY!

To our valued consumers,

Please be advised that there will be a scheduled load curtailment on May 10 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM to conduct the necessary PMS on the rental genset in preparation for the upcoming National and Local Elections this May 12.

Activities:
1. Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS)
2. Valve Lash Adjustment
3. Replacement of Crankshaft Seal

This activity is essential to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our power generation equipment during the critical election period.

Also, please note that this is not a total shutdown but only a load curtailment to accommodate the supply by the remaining operational genset. Rotational load curtailment will be applied based on the balancing of the load in the distribution line.
