✨ Exciting news!

MDPI, in collaboration with Taylor's University and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, recently hosted a successful Scientific Publishing Workshop for undergraduates, PhD students, early-career researchers, and faculty members.

The workshop covered key aspects of open access, common reasons for manuscript rejection, best practices for writing and responding to reviewers, the role of AI in academic writing, and strategies for publishing in high-impact journals.

Professor Nyuk Hien Wong, Editorial Board Member of Sustainability MDPI from the National University of Singapore, highlighted the parallels between AI-assisted language checks and traditional proofreading practices. The workshop concluded with Prof. Wong sharing valuable insights from his experience publishing in Q1 and Q2 journals, leaving participants with practical strategies and words of encouragement.
