📚 Sustainability Special Issue Mentor Program 📚

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative—the Sustainability Special Issue Mentor Program. It is designed to support early career researchers (who hold a PhD in a relevant field) by offering hands-on experience in editing a Special Issue within MDPI journals, under the guidance of our experienced Editorial Board Members or other established scientists.

Through this mentor–mentee collaboration, participants will strengthen their editorial skills, gain valuable insight into the academic publishing process, and further develop their ability to curate high-quality scientific research.

We believe this initiative represents an important step toward empowering the next generation of editors and advancing excellence in sustainability research 🌍✨.

🌿 Conference Highlights | December 2025 🌿

In December, our Journal Relations Specialists, Jelena Milenkovic and Mara Parvulescu, had the pleasure of attending the British Ecological Society Annual Meeting 2025, held from 15–18 December in Edinburgh, UK.

It was a great opportunity to connect with researchers, academics, and professionals from across the ecological community. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited us, shared their research interests, and engaged in insightful discussions about publishing, open access, and opportunities within our journal.

We truly appreciate the enthusiasm and interest shown in our journal and look forward to continuing these conversations and collaborations in the future.
