What should we call the people who are killing their very own people?
“Nuerwew” is the name given to you by the Kiir government you are supporting. Nuer refers to the Nuer tribe; “Wew” or “Weu” is a Dinka word meaning money. Therefore Nuer+Wew= Nuerwew. Nuerwew means the Nuer who love money. The Nuer who are being hired or paid to go and kill their own brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, relatives, and friends.
The problem is not about supporting Salva Kiir, the issue is that Salva Kiir is hiring or paying you to betray or sell out your brothers and sisters. He is giving you guns, sending you back to your various hometowns, and ordering you to burn them down or raze them and kill the inhabitants. In addition to that, the Kiir government orders you to destroy or poison all the water sources in the Nuer lands.
