Presque un expatrié sur deux (42%) se sent physiquement en meilleure santé depuis son déménagement, soit au-dessus de la moyenne mondiale, établie à 33%. Aucun autre pays n’est aussi apprécié que la Suisse parmi les expatriés, selon un sondage HSBC mené auprès de personnes issues de 163 pays. C’est la première fois que la Suisse arrive en tête de cette étude annuelle, en 12 ans d’existence.

More working hours for women? Easier said than done.

I also disagree that increasing working hours of part-time working women is not the answer to tackling labour shortages in Switzerland. One should first ask what jobs women working with a 20% to 40% occupation rate have and if these jobs will still be existing in 10 years from now.
Educated women will remain active along their career and keep on with working at responsibility level only if they have flexible working hours and the options to decrease occupation rates for some years, this combined with an easier access and availability of daycare.

In the next few years, up to a million people will retire in Switzerland, while only 500,000 will enter the workforce. Should women work more to ...
