A project by the sea

Content creation for

The vision of this work was to embrace the atmosphere of the area which is stunning by it’s natural suroundings. We wanted to share the freshness of the fishes and the minimal elegance of the restaurant.

Minimalism Meets Elegance

For this creative shoot, we embraced simplicity by using an old Canon EOS 1200D paired with a standard 18-55mm lens and a basic lighting setup. What emerged was a mesmerizing display of artistry featuring a Vogue model from Switzerland, blending beauty and minimalism in perfect harmony.

The Concept
Using a single mirror as a prop, we played with reflections to create striking visual depth and a sense of duality. The understated studio installation emphasized the model’s natural elegance and allowed the focus to remain on the interplay of light, texture, and symmetry.

The Tools
• Camera: Canon EOS 1200D (proving that even older tools can create magic in skilled hands).
• Lens: 18-55mm kit lens.
• Lighting: Minimal and intentionally soft to accentuate the model’s features and the reflective surfaces.

This shoot is proof that creativity isn’t about equipment—it’s about vision. With the right eye, even the most modest tools can produce images that feel timeless and sophisticated.

Crafting Timeless Spaces with AZAR

At Equa Studio, we are proud to have played a key role in curating the architectural portfolio of AZAR and supporting their visionary concept store, Esprit du Maroc, at the Gallery Saint François in Lausanne from 2022 to 2023.

Our approach to this collaboration involved:
1️⃣ Visual Storytelling: Capturing the essence of AZAR’s architectural and interior design concepts through carefully composed imagery. Every photograph highlighted the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship, structure, and minimalism.
2️⃣ Elevating Aesthetic Values: Showcasing the interplay of textures, colors, and forms that make AZAR’s spaces not just beautiful but deeply inspiring.

Bringing Simplicity and Elegance to Life – Room 3 at Koukoumi Hotel

At Equa Studio, we had the incredible opportunity to capture the serene beauty and thoughtful design of Room 3 at the luxurious Koukoumi Hotel, Mykonos’ first vegan boutique hotel.

Our focus was to showcase the harmonious blend of minimalist luxury and eco-conscious living that makes this space truly unique.

Here’s what went into the process:
✔️ Natural Light Mastery: Using the soft Mykonos light to accentuate the clean lines and bright atmosphere, creating an inviting and calming ambiance.
✔️ Detail-Oriented Composition: From the elegant bamboo towel ladder to the fine texture of the linens, every shot was framed to highlight the thoughtfulness of the room’s design.
✔️ Color Story: The white and neutral palette was accentuated with subtle blue and earthy tones, reflecting Koukoumi’s ethos of simplicity and sustainability.
✔️ Immersive Storytelling: We aimed to communicate the essence of relaxation, comfort, and ethical luxury—perfectly aligned with Koukoumi Hotel’s philosophy.
