Getting out into the streets with local artists.

Wheat paste. Stickers. Installs. Walking Berlin, finding spots, putting up art, talking s**t, sharing stories and learning how other artists move through their city.

But what makes this video even better is how these connections happen.

Just a few weeks earlier, I met one of these artists at Sticker Rome Expo in Italy. Fast-forward to Berlin—we reconnect, they introduce me to some of their friends, and suddenly I’m spending the night putting up art with a crew of people I wouldn’t have known existed a month earlier.

That’s the magic of this culture.

You show up with some stickers and some art, and suddenly you’ve got something in common. One connection turns into five more. Different countries, different backgrounds, different styles—but we’re all speaking the same language.

Digi Slaps has never just been about traveling somewhere, projecting some art and moving on to the next city.

We want to actually connect with the people who make these scenes what they are.

Meet the artists.
Walk their streets.
See their spots.
Trade art.
Share ideas.
Make friends.

These are the experiences that stay with me long after the trip is over.

A little Sticker Smash in the streets of Trastevere. 🇼đŸ‡čđŸ”„

We’re still digging through a mountain of content from our Europe tour, and this one takes us back to one of our favorite cities in the world—ROME!

We were in town for Sticker Rome Expo, which has become one of the highlights of our year. The event brings together an incredible international community of sticker artists, street artists, collectors, and people who genuinely love this culture. Every year we leave with new friends, new inspiration, and WAY more stickers. 😂

Of course, we couldn’t come to Rome without taking some of that energy into the streets.

We hit Trastevere for a small smash, adding pieces from artists around the world to a neighborhood already overflowing with character, street art, and history.

Rome just hits different. You can wander without a plan and find something incredible around every corner. Walking those old sampietrini cobblestone streets, surrounded by layers of history while putting up art from artists around the world
 that’s our kind of night. ❀

 OR STICKER THIEF?

This might be one of the most controversial conversations we had during our entire Europe tour.

Last year, we caught someone taking a sticker off the street and adding it to their personal collection.

This year
 we ran into the same person at the Sticker Rime Expo, taking a sticker from inside the exhibition.

So we sat down and asked a simple question:

Why not just contact the artist and ask for a sticker instead of taking one that’s already been placed?

The conversation that followed was fascinating.

Whether you agree with them or completely disagree, it’s a discussion that a lot of people in the sticker community have strong opinions about.

This is just a short clip.

Today we stopped by the Art Yard Sale at Lottie & Zula’s, and it did not disappoint. There was an incredible lineup of local artists, tons of amazing artwork, and it was great catching up with friends in Portland’s street art community.

Portland continues to have one of the strongest art scenes around, and events like this are a big reason why. Huge thanks to everyone who came out, shared their work, and helped make it such a great day.

Lottie & Zula’s was the perfect host—an awesome sandwich shop covered in art that fits the vibe perfectly.
