For the same body I now get compliments for, I used to be teased for.

I had to listen to stuff like: your arms are not feminine, they are way too muscular, why do you train so much, you got no b***s, do you even brush your hair, will you ever get taller....🤯💔

I had to overcome all of these voices in my head over the years. I learned to let go and to love my body, no matter how tall I was or how big my b***s were, or whatever else was „wrong“ about it.♥️🫶

Why do I tell you all of this? Because I want to show you more than just the sunny side of my life. Let you be a part of my growth journey and show you if I could overcome all of it; you can too! ☀️💃

So let’s celebrate each other's uniqueness! 🔥 Tell someone how beautiful their smile is! That they inspire you. That they make you feel good when you are with them and whatever else might brighten someone's day. 🥰 Or, as I always say: “It's the little things that count!”

Life: you beautiful, mysterious unknown challenge. ♥️

We grow up, lose battles, have to overcome obstacles, love deeply, get our hearts broken, celebrate victories, lose loved ones, move to new cities or even countries, laugh so hard our stomachs hurt, think life will never get better, sleepless nights because we dance through it, get lost, find our way again and soooooooo much more.

I never thought when I was eighteen that life would be how it is now. But! I‘m beyond happy with the way it all turned out. 💃🫶

A few facts about my life & myself:
🔥 31 years old
🔥 building up my own company
🔥 single and happy
🔥 used to be a 800m pro runner
🔥 moved out at 16years of age
🔥 moved across the ocean with 22
🔥 battled with a lot of self-doubts, because my school time in my home town was definitely not an easy one

🔥 mental health matters
🔥 never thought I would live ever again in Switzerland, when I moved to Sydney.
🔥 cat lover
🔥 passionate photographer
🔥 I never give up, I might adjust and move on, because life is no straight line
🔥 working on my body and mind, to become the best version of myself, for myself

Because how often have we not started something out of the fear of what might be when it doesn't work out?🤯🙀

I have, and I’m sure many of you too. 🙏So let's all try to say more yes and stop worrying about what others might think, why it couldn't work out, or what will be after. (But, of course, don't do anything stupid that could risk your life or financial situation or bring anyone else in danger)

And we so often forget to slow down and enjoy the little things. 🤯 Because when was the last time you did nothing and didn't feel guilty or thought about all the things you still should be doing? 😵‍💫🫠

Something I have been working on big times this year. ☀️ To actively slow down, to take time off, to say no, to sit on my couch, or now finally again outside on my balkon, and to not feel guilty or stressed about it.🫶🥰 And let me tell you: I feel soooo relaxed after, I get my work done more efficiently, and life quality improved drastically.

And you know what is even more beautiful than learning to slow down by yourself? 🤩To have people around you who do the same with you and are happy to sit there and watch the sunset while eating a mango, for example.

Some would say it needs a lot of courage to open up but less to show off naked skin. Do you agree? Or is one easier than the other for you?

I want to stand for both. To show other women and girls to love their bodies no matter what! To tell their stories and not just the bright ones. So here we go: The last 7 months have been a big life lesson since I moved on. A healing journey. Unbecoming self-doubt and learning to love myself again for who and what I am. It's still a process, one I constantly work on. But I’m proud of how far I have come and I am happier then ever before. 🫶

Life is no straight line, which makes it even more beautiful. So be proud of your journey and never stop growing. If I can, you are more than capable as well. Just believe in yourself.☀️

My life might always look pretty bright on social, but just like everyone else, I struggle, leave loved ones behind, go through breakups, get cheated on, get sick, and feel stuck. But, my mantra: “Every lesson is a blessing & everything that doesn't kill me makes me stronger!”🔥

Some would say I’m a restless soul, and others admire my hunger for the perfect life (which, of course, looks very different to every single person). But the only one who has to understand me and my choices truly is I. 🫶 Because, no matter how much my family, friends, and one day again, a life partner will love me, if I don't love the life I created, it will never be enough. 🔥
-
So, make sure to create the life of your dreams and learn to say no, but also yes without regrets or thinking about what others might think about you! At the end of the day, people talk no matter what you do anyway. 🔥Life unapologetically your life and no one else. 🔥

And a little side note about my job situation: yes, I have changed jobs more often than maybe others, but here are the reasons for it: ☀️I outgrew the first job I landed in Switzerland after 1 1/2 years, but gained a lot of experiences and learned a lot about myself. ☀️ The second job, unfortunately, got taken over by the German team. Not much I could do, so I had to move on after 1 year.☀️ Third job was super short and ended after 3 months. Reasons? They wanted more than my job description, and with all my other engagements here on social and racing, I just wasn't able to. As much as I don’t mind working overtime and on weekends, I have learned to set boundaries and only take on as much as possible. And I am always very honest about my social media presents and work, the joy of participating in MTB races, and how important this is when I apply for any job. ☀️Fast forward to now: I realized after 5 months of working 100% for a company that if I don't get the freedom of choosing my working hours and being able to work remotely. It isn't for me. So I decided it was time for a more significant change💥. What this means will soon be revealed. I’m very excited about the change and more than ready for it.🤩

The last few weeks, I have heard one phrase over and over again: „Because of you, I…“ 🫶🔥 I‘m beyond grateful for these words and the love I’m receiving, not just from friends and family but also from all of you guys here. ☀️ This means a lot to me and is precisely why I started my IG page many years ago.

The goal has never changed; I always wanted and still am on this path to inspire people to chase after their dreams, love themselves for who they are and never give up. And hearing words such as “You inspire me to chase after my dreams or thanks to you, I learned to say no without feeling guilty” makes my heart jump. 🫶

We all have just one life, and it's ours to live. Forget about what others think; they are too busy focusing on themselves, just like you anyways. 🔥So jump into that cold lake, say yes to spontaneous adventures, try something new, or enjoy a lazy day at home without feeling guilty.

Nothing in life worth fighting for comes easy, but it's always worth it. 🔥 And you don't have to be 100% ready but use the 74% you got today to the max.
