Yesterday, February 14, 2025, marked a historic moment for Jacques DeMolay Memorial Lodge No. 305, as a respected stalwart father and Past Master of the lodge passed the Masonic charge to his son upon his elevation to the sublime degree of Master Mason.
This occasion was especially meaningful for VW Jojo Javier, the current Senior Grand Councilor of the Supreme Council of the Order of DeMolay. Standing among the brethren, he witnessed the same ritual he had once experienced, now in the role of a father passing on a precious legacy to his son, Brother Bryan Paul Javier, Past National Master Councilor of the Order of DeMolay. It was a full-circle moment, not only for the Masonic family, but for the Javier family as well.
Brother Masons from various lodges, many of whom are DeMolay Freemasons, gathered to witness the event. Among them, the most notable was Mr. W. Pacifico “Kuya Boy” Aniag, Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines, a member of the Lodge and a member of Bro. Bryan’s Chapter at the Loyalty Chapter, Order of DeMolay. Also present were 12 Past Masters of the Lodge and 6 Past Deputy District Grand Masters of the Grand Lodge. All serving District Officers of the Grand Lodge, led by Deputy District Grand Master, VW Julius Barles, graced the event.
Under the direction of VW Jeffrey Villalino, the graduation team performed the ritual with the skill and excellence that characterizes JDML 305. The ritual concluded with a creative and unprecedented presentation of the 3rd Degree Lecture by VW Joji Bulawin and Bro. Gerald Baluyot.
The event was a memorable moment for JDML 305, where the past and the future converged, united by the timeless principles of brotherhood. This reinforced the JDML 305 legacy of brotherhood and excellence, which will continue to endure for years to come.
