A throwback to my first international flight, which happened in 2021. Chile was an unexpected travel plan but turned into something utterly special and meaningful for me. Chile gave me the opportunity to connect for the first time with another Latin American country. I gained knowledge that Brazil is much closer to Chile than to the US. Chileans really know how to fight against the extreme government, and we, Brazilians, should learn from them. Chile also gave me the key to coming to the US. They literally allowed me to realize my former dream of being an au pair. But the most special gift that Chile gave me was the amazing people I met during this trip, who are now always in my heart.
I can’t wait to go back to this country!
