To encourage more people to join the Credit Union, a referral program has been introduced so that members who bring in New members will go back home with a reward of 2.000Frs.

The President also unveil plans for the Credit Union to expand its services to New Areas. This of course will help to reach out to so many people, bring about growth in membership, thereby making the cooperative to contribute in the development of the region.
As a sign of Recognition some outgoing board Members were given certificates as a sign of their hard work and dedication to BACCUL.

It worthy of note that the Bali Central Credit Union created in 1968 with less than 10 members and operating under the slogan the “TREE OF KAP IS PLANTED BY THE SEED OF KAP”, today, counts a membership of over 15 thousands with head quarter in Bali and 7 branches in Bamenda, Yaoundé, Douala, Muntengene and Limbe with a Staff strength of 75.

Bali Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd Holds 56th AGM, Unveils Ambitious Plans

The Bali Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd (BACCUL) on Saturday February 8th 2025 at the Big Mankon Cathedral Hall held its 56th Annual General Meeting, bringing together members to discuss the Credit Union's progress and Future Plans.

The day began with the registration of members which shows their high level of Participation and commitment for the Credit Union.

The AGM featured Reports from the various Committees highlighting the achievements and challenges faced by BACCUL within the year. The Reports also highlighted the importance of members working together and in the decision making machinery.

Key points on the AGM was the announcement of an increase in its interest rate to 6%, a move aimed at providing better returns for its members and the Reduction of Withdrawal Charges without prior notification from 1.5% to 1%

The AGM saw the unveiling of a 5 years ambitious plan to further grow and strengthen the Credit Union by the General Manager Gabila Abel Foncham.
This shows that BACCUL remains committed to its Community-focused approach, prioritizing the needs of its members.

"The Bali Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd has come a long way since its inception. Today, it stands as a testament to the power of Community and Cooperation." The Manager added.

We are bringing proximity banking, while expanding on our service outreach and investing in digitalization so that in future there will be no need coming to the bank but accessing your account and doing your transaction directly from home Mr. Gabila added.

In conclusion the GM, said the Bali Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd will continue to work towards its goal of providing excellent services to its members.

The Presidents of the Board of Directors Aghem Christopher Feh on his part disclosed that the Credit Union in 2024 recorded some successes.

She further said her organization is having a Data Base of over300 Survivors of Trafficking with no Means to support all of them. So far they have been able to graduate 100 last year and with their limited resources this year they will be graduating 50 Youths by providing them with Vocational training and tools to kick start their own businesses. It is thanks to the American Embassy that this is done through a partnership between the American Embassy and Nkumu Fed Fed and it is the African Regional Democracy Fund Program for 2021/2022 that supported them with 22.000 USD.
The PG said Trafficking is an old age practice and Nkumu Fed Fed for the past 20 years have been working to fight against Trafficking and the phenomenon is that which they can only contribute to reduce though it is their interest to eradicate it. This will be a gradual process to see how they will in different perspectives to reduce and finally eliminate TIP.
It is worthy of note that the Association has been able to train Parents, Guardians and other people on how to support survivors and victims. This time around they are on psychosocial support and social cohesion especially with the ongoing crisis in the North West and South West since TIP cannot be avoided in a Community where theres Crisis. It is for this reason that Government Agencies, Religious Authorities, Traditional Rulers and partner NGOs as withnesses such that they can be Ambassadors to the Program.
Nkumu Fed Fed is a Gender Base NGO created since 1996. It has 12 branches in the world; 6 in Cameroon and 6 in the Diaspora with the goal of improving the living condition of vulnerable groups in the Society especially the woman, girl child and youths in the Community as a means of fighting Poverty and guarantee unity Progress and National Development. They have been doing a lot on the fight against Trafficking in People especially as they fought and brought back about 30 girls from Kuwait which was very much appreciated by the Gov't.

Speaking during the workshop to a group of some selected Young girls in a Power Point presentation Mme. Eunice Tata, a Gender Base Expert who doubles as the PG of the Network of Sister Associations; Nkumu Fed Fed situated the Project objective amongst others. She said the objective of the Project Was to provide Basic Humanitarian Services and adequate withdrawal and reinsertion support to 50 Youths who are survivors of TIP in the North West Region of Cameroon.
The Workshop Participants under the Theme: Providing Psychosocial Care, Peace Talks and Civic Education to Survivors of TIP in the North west Region benefited from Lectures presented by Mme. Wango Yvette, a Consultant of TIP who spoke on Coping with Displacement, Mr. Patrick Tata, an Educationist and Consultant who lectured on Civic Education and Trafficking in Person (TIP), with Mr. Nji Charles; a Media Consultant tailing the list of Presenters with a talk on Peace Education as a Unifying tool to Survivors of TIP and Trauma Managers.
At the end of the Workshop there was Question and Answer Session. Some of the Participants appreciated Nkumu Fed Fed for the opportunities opened to them why promising to use the Knowledge gain to impact others.
Mr. Nji Blasius Charles gave an overview of his presentation to a group of Journalists. He said his Presentation was to inculcate some knowledge on Peace Education to the Participants of the Workshop with the hope that it will be used in their various groups to promote Peace and as a Peace Ambassador they will have to be Tolerant, Caring, and Sober, not to be Aggressive. He also promised a follow-up to see if the knowledge received is being practiced.
Mme. Eunice on her part said most of the participants of the workshop were Youths who are either Victims or Survivors of TIP who will now act as Ambassadors by taking the knowledge gain to their various Communities.

Survivor of Trafficking in Person (TIP) in the North West Region Challenged to be Ambassador of Peace.

Some Survivors of TIP in a one day Workshop organized and sponsored by Nkumu Fed Fed, with support from African Regional Democracy Fund has been called to be Ambassador of Peace.

The Workshop that took place in the Gwan Multipurpose Hall (GMC) Bamenda Branch office on Tuesday 28th December 2021 was opened by Madam Anna Njoko, the Centre Coordinator in the presence of the President General (PG) of Nkumu Fed Fed Madam Eunice Tita Tata, the Health Minister of Nkumu Fed Fed Madam Helen Fohtung, the representative of MINPROFF, MINAS, the Catholic Women zxAssociation (CWA), and the Christian Women fellowship (CWF) of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon and some Consultants.
