Tragedy Strikes Big Babanki,Tubah Sub Division:

Pa Danas, a family head from Big Babanki in the Tubah Sub-Division (NW of Cameroon has died after being hit by a large stone on his farm on Monday June 1,2026. Reports say the rock fell out of nowhere and killed him instantly. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear

Front End Loader Crushes Motorbike in Yaounde

A front loader driving uphill in Chapelle Obili, Yaounde, lost control due to a brake failure, rolled backward down the hill, and crashed into a shop.

A motorbike rider traveling behind the machine narrowly escaped death by jumping off his bike after onlookers screamed to warn him.

The motorbike was completely destroyed, but no injuries or deaths were reported. The gendarmerie and security forces secured the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.

Father, Child Hospitalized After A Serious Car Accident

A young child is fighting for life after a car crashed into an electric pole on Che Street, Bamenda II, Sub Division, NWR of Cameroon on Sunday May 31.

The driver, the child's own father says his brakes failed. The car overturned, and the child was thrown out through the rear windscreen.
The father escaped with minor injuries and rushed his child to Bamenda Regional Hospital.

The car, a Toyota Carina E, was left completely wrecked at the scene.

University Expells 365 Students Over Fake Documents

The management of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has expelled 365 students for securing admission with falsified academic documents.

This is contained in a statement on Monday in Abeokuta by the institution’s Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Mr Yemi Ajibola.

Ajibola explained that the affected students were enrolled in various Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes across its schools.

Gunmen Kill Bike Rider In Bamenda

A young man named Clinton was shot and killed this Monday morning at BrazzariesJunction in Bamenda. It happened around 8:00 a.m.
Clinton had just dropped a passenger at a nearby pharmacy. While he waited outside, armed men walked up and opened fire on him.

He died right there on the spot. 💔
Witnesses say the attackers accused him of breaking the Monday ghost town rule , a weekly observance where people in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon are expected to stay home and keep businesses closed.

This has been going on for nearly 10 years since the Anglophone crisis began.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that the gunmen took nothing. Not his brand-new motorcycle. Not his phone. They just shot him and walked away.

When security forces arrived, they found no ID on him, only a small "choronko" phone that had run out of battery. People who knew him reached out to his family. His mother arrived at the scene shortly after and broke down in tears. 😭

Clinton was mainly a truck driver who rode commercial bikes on the side to make extra money. He wasn't causing trouble. He was just trying to survive.

Fatal Traffic Accident Leaves One Dead, Multiple Injured In Olembé- Yaounde

- A fatal road accident occurred Sunday afternoon in the Olembé neighborhood, resulting in at least one fatality and leaving several others critically injured.

Eye witness accounts indicate that a mini bus carrying several passengers lost control, violently went off the road, and went airborne before colliding violently killing one person and wounding many others.

The injured are responding to treatment in a health facility.
