Dana white revealed that Conor McGregor wanted to rematch khabib in Russia.

In 2021, White mentioned that Khabib would consider stepping back into the octagon if he’s impressed by a remarkable showing from McGregor or other fighters like Dustin Poirier. However, it’s worth noting that Khabib announced his retirement after defeating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, and White respects his decision.

White also highlighted the intense rivalry between McGregor and Khabib, which fueled the highest-selling pay-per-view in UFC history at UFC 229. A rematch would undoubtedly generate massive interest and revenue.

Conor McGregor wanting to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov in Russia was regarded as a pretty bold move, and according to Dana White, it was all about redemption and proving himself in hostile territory. McGregor’s request is likely driven by his desire to avenge his 2018 loss to Khabib at UFC 229, which was a highly publicized and intense fight.

It’s worth noting that Khabib has strong ties to Russia, and Vladimir Putin even gifted him $20 million worth of property after his win against McGregor. This adds an extra layer of complexity to the potential rematch, with McGregor looking to take on Khabib in his own backyard.

It’s clear that McGregor is eager to prove himself as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, calling it a “massive fight, white expressed interest in making it happen although we never got to see the rematch of the biggest fight in MMA History.

Who do you think would’ve won the rematch ???

Israel Adesanya, the former UFC middleweight champion, was involved in a road rage incident in New Zealand.

A video captured the altercation, showing Adesanya standing outside his McLaren 720S Spider, exchanging heated words with another driver. The situation escalated, with Adesanya telling the man to “f*** off” and making a show of opening his car door. He also hurled insults, calling the other driver’s car a “beat-up piece of s***”

As the verbal sparring continued, Adesanya advised the other driver to “walk away” and even spit towards his feet.
The incident ended with Adesanya taunting the other driver, saying “fight me, I pray for you to try me”
Fortunately, the situation didn’t escalate further, as the person filming the video drove away.

It’s worth noting that Adesanya has been involved in controversies outside the Octagon before, including a DUI arrest in August 2023.

However, this recent incident raises concerns about his temperament and ability to manage stress outside of fighting.

Floyd Mayweather 🗣

Retirement isn’t about slowing down, it’s about living on your own terms. I’ve worked hard to build a life where I can choose my adventures, and if those adventures still bring in multi-millions, even better! Success isn’t something you retire from it’s something you refine.

Exhibitions are my way of giving my fans, old and new, the opportunity to witness my greatness on any stage I choose. That’s what any successful businessman and boss would do.

It’s okay for Jeff Bezos, who is 60, Bill Gates at 68, and Warren Buffett at 93, to continuously build their legacies and wealth, and they’re celebrated as smart businessmen.
But when I, a Black man far younger in age, choose to do the same, somehow it becomes a problem for naysayers with nothing to their name. Bottom line, there’s too many of you busy pocket watching, while I’m busy still creating wealth and legacy.

DAN HO**ER FIRES BACK!!!

“Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler are bragging about beating me, Bro, you’re bragging about beating me on 3 weeks notice.

While I was training in my garage.
Don’t say my name unless you’re willing to run it back.”

Ho**er’s statement targets Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler, who have referenced their victories over him.

Ho**er’s key points:

1. Short notice: Ho**er took both fights on 3-weeks’ notice, highlighting the challenges.

2. Unconventional training: He prepared in his garage, underscoring the difficulties.

3. Lack of respect: Ho**er feels Poirier and Chandler shouldn’t brag about wins under these circumstances.

Now, Ho**er seeks rematches to prove himself.

What’s your take on Ho**er’s statement?
Should Poirier and Chandler grant him rematches?

Ilia Topuria is confident about his upcoming fight against Max Holloway, predicting a knockout victory in the first round.

He believes he’s the better fighter in all aspects, stating, “I feel like I’m way better than him everywhere”.

Topuria’s confidence stems from his previous win over Alexander Volkanovski, whom he knocked out in the second round to claim the UFC featherweight title.

Topuria thinks Holloway will be an easier matchup compared to Volkanovski, citing Volkanovski’s three wins over Holloway as evidence. He’s also warned Holloway against engaging in wild swinging exchanges, advising him to avoid making it easy for him (Topuria) to secure a knockout victory.

The highly anticipated fight is set to take place at on October 26, 2024, in Abu Dhabi.

With Topuria’s undefeated record (15-0) and Holloway’s impressive skills, this matchup promises to be an exciting one.

Will Topuria’s prediction come true, or will Holloway prove him wrong?

What’s your prediction ???

Dricus du Plessis has been quite vocal about his potential opponents, Alex Pereira and Sean Strickland.

Regarding Pereira, du Plessis warned him against returning to the middleweight division, citing Pereira’s previous knockout loss to Israel Adesanya. Du Plessis implied that if Pereira loses at middleweight, he’ll use the weight cut as an excuse. Pereira, however, remains unfazed, stating he’ll drop down to middleweight for one more fight, regardless of the outcome against Khalil Rountree Jr.

As for Sean Strickland, du Plessis is expected to face him next, and their history is quite intense. Du Plessis previously defeated Strickland via split decision to take the middleweight strap Strickland has been vocal about wanting an immediate rematch, but du Plessis had other plans, defending his title against Israel Adesanya at UFC 305. Now, it seems Strickland will finally get his chance to reclaim the title.

In a recent tweet, du Plessis taunted Pereira and Strickland, suggesting they settle their “domestic dispute” over who gets knocked out first. The tension between these fighters is palpable, and fans are eagerly awaiting the next matchups.
