Bi, I’m genuinely proud of you. To see those dreams you once spoke about becoming reality today is inspiring. And Ngwa Benard, truly one of the finest talents this industry has ever produced — this milestone is well deserved.
Also, congratulations to Team Golden Spoon on the nomination. Having Cameroonian productions recognized on such a major African stage shows how far our industry is coming.

5 years ago, I walked into the Cameroon International Film Festival as a young director with just one nomination — my short film VICTIM.
I sat in masterclasses, listened, learned, and absorbed everything I could. In such a short time, I gained so much knowledge, sharing spaces with legends like Ramsey Noah, Musing Derrick , Neba Lawrence, and many others.
I returned the next year… and the next…
And with every edition, I grew.
From learning, to becoming Assistant Director on PLANTERS PLANTATION,
To directing SAMBAKUK, THE GRAY SONG, ABAKWA, LYCEE ABAKWA,
And now… The Advocate.
In 2026, I return — not just as a participant, but as a facilitator.
Humbled to be leading an Acting Masterclass alongside our very own Prisma James and Ruth Kadiri from Nigeria.
From student… to teacher.
From learning… to sharing.
Let’s meet at Mountain Hotel and celebrate the 7th art together at the Cameroon International Film Festival.

A group of young creatives came together with one mission — to tell a story that matters. No big studios. No massive budgets. Just raw talent, courage, and a dream bigger than our fears.
From the director’s vision to the dedication of every crew member, this production proves that passion can move mountains.
This might just be one of the youngest film crews ever assembled in 237, and together we are pushing the boundaries of Cameroonian cinema.
