Why You Feel Weak or Dizzy During Your Period
Have you ever noticed how sometimes during your period, you just feel weak, dizzy, or even lightheaded? Like you just stood up and the whole world wants to rotate
Some people will say ‘ah ah, you’re exaggerating’ but no, it’s real. It’s not laziness, it’s science!”
One of my friends almost fainted in class during her period. We rushed her to the clinic, and the nurse said her body had lost too much blood. That day I learned something important when you bleed, you lose iron. And iron is what helps your body stay strong and carry oxygen.
So when your iron is low, your body goes like ‘babe, we’re running on low battery’.
To avoid that, eat foods rich in iron like beans, liver, spinach, or even a little bit of red meat. And please don’t skip meals during your period, you need that energy.”
Because trust me, fainting in public isn’t cute especially when it’s not heartbreak but hemoglobin .
