All of us Cameroonians seem so passive, and I can now conclude that our cognitive reasoning has been buried in bottles of beer and plates of food, whether at home or in bars. We have been tested, and it appears that certain individuals in this country can do whatever they want at any time, and we will only cry, make noise, and later accept it.

How can a constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, be rewritten or amended as if it were a resit exam at the University of Buea?

Celebrations have erupted across the streets of Bafang tonight as residents mark what they believe to be a victory for Issa Tchiroma. The spontaneous night march has filled the city with songs, cheers, and an outpouring of joy.

The atmosphere is electric, with crowds waving flags and chanting in support of the man many are now calling “the people’s choice.”

We have prayed for years for change and today, the Lord has answered our prayers by presenting us with a candidate who has the strength and vision to bring victory home.

For everyone asking who I will vote for I will vote for change. And that change is ISSA TCHIROMA.

He is the man for the job. I therefore call on all my brothers, sisters, friends, and relatives if you have a voter’s card, make it count. Vote for ISSA TCHIROMA.

He may not fit your image of a political savior, but that’s exactly what he is the one chosen to bring political salvation to Cameroon.

Call him a Biya operative, and I will call him an opportunist one who has spent enough time in the system to know its secrets, its weaknesses, and where the keys to true change are hidden.

Call him the devil, and others will say he is the good devil indeed, he’s the necessary evil, the better of two evils, the one capable of challenging the old order and restoring hope.

As you head to the polls tomorrow, remember don’t just vote and leave. Stay vigilant. Protect your vote. The tricks of the past haven’t changed they only evolve. Dedicate one day, October 12, to decide and defend your future, or be ready to endure another half-century of stagnation, frustration, and despair.

Vote for ISSA TCHIROMA he may not meet every expectation, but he represents the change Cameroon desperately needs.

ISSA TCHIROMA BAKARY SPEAKS My dear compatriots, Cameroonians and Cameroonians,
For the past few days, I've been traveling with you the Central, Northwest, Southwest and Coastal cities. I saw your mobilization, I felt your heart cries, and I want to say thank you. Thanks to Yaoundé, thanks to Bamenda, thanks to Buea, thanks to Limbé, thanks to Douala, thanks to Édéa. You have written a new page of our history.
To my brothers and sisters in Bamenda, Buea and Limbe, thank you for forgiving and accepting me as one of your own. To Douala and all of the Littoral, I thank you for this historic mobilization. I will never betray your trust.
5th October was also a special day: World Teachers' Day. These men and women who spend more time with our children than we do, form the future leaders of this country. I promise you: from my election, you will be treated with dignity, with a fair pay, with the recognition you deserve.
To the men and women in uniform, our military who risk their lives to protect our nation: I see you. I hear you. You deserve regular promotions, real security for your families, and the recognition of an entire people.
I beg you not to be instrumentalized. Your mission is to protect Cameroon and its people. Continue to do so bravery and people will be grateful.
To the journalists, who carry the voice of our nation, thank you. I promise to support the press, including the private press, with grants to enable you better inform, educate and better market the image of our country.
To all the cities and villages I haven't been able to come yet, but I know you are mobilized: I hear you. Thank you for your support and I will find a way to reach out to you.
Please note that we will celebrate our victory together on the evening of October 12.
My fellow fellow countrymen, we are now in the last stretch. It's crucial to mobilize yourself Go get your voters cards. If you only got it, go with it. And even if they tell you that your card has disappeared, go with your ID card. Don't let anyone vote for you. Keep an eye on your votes.
Next three days will be crucial. Become an actor of your own change: talk to your neighbors, your friends, raise awareness in your villages. This election is yours. Don't let yourself be bought by tickets or sardine bread. It would cost another 7 to 20 years of suffering. Let's just say no to this.
Finally, I want to speak to my brothers and sisters in the opposition. We fought, we defended our positions, we toured the cities. We have shown that it is the opposition that exists in this country, not the power. Now is the time for us to unite, to speak as one voice.
If any of my brothers felt offended by my past words or posts, I ask for forgiveness. Let's get back to feeling better. Let's make a shred table. What comes before us is a unique opportunity. Let us take our freedom.
I remain open because together we will govern and guide this transition.
Whether you join me today or tomorrow, know that my hand will remain strained. We are going to fix and rebuild Cameroon. And we will do it together.
