Mia's peaceful evenings ended the day the new neighbors moved in. Blasting music at 3 AM, trash cans overflowing, and loud arguments became the soundtrack. She asked them politely to keep it down; they laughed it off.

One night, as she confronted them about the noise, a bottle shattered at her feet. The air was thick with tension. The neighbor, eyes red, sneered, "Mind your business." Mia, scared but furious, held her ground.

Days turned into weeks of silence, then escalated - broken car windows, strange noises at night. The police came, but nothing changed. One midnight, Mia snapped. Armed with a torch, she marched next door, demanding respect.

The neighbors, caught off guard, backed off. An uneasy truce formed. Weeks later, the change was palpable - respect returned, quiet evenings resumed. But the question lingered: had she won, or was it a calm before the storm? 💣

Sadio Mane has been urged to reverse his retirement decision ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday. 🗣️

Mane will captain Senegal against tournament hosts Morocco tonight as the Lions of Teranga seek to win the competition for just the second time in their history, and the ex-Liverpool man has been vital in their pursuit of glory.

Senegal boss Pape Thiaw has, however, pleaded with Mane to continue playing for the national team, claiming the Al-Nassr forward "represents Africa".

Speaking ahead of Sunday's final, Thiaw said: "The country is not in agreement [with his decision], and I am not in agreement. We want to keep him as long as possible. He represents Africa, the world, and when we say it's his decision, it doesn't just belong to him, he belongs to the people of Senegal, and they want to see him carry on. 🎙️

"Considering his example, we need such people like this in the country. He gives lessons, his humility, his education, how he gives his sweat for Senegal. He gave his life for this team to get to the World Cup in 2022, he gave his life to win the first AFCON and get the first star.

"If I had to sign a paper to allow this player to leave, I would say 'no', and his teammates would say 'no' as well." ✍🏽

AFCON 2028: CAF Considers Morocco Amid Lack of Ready Candidates, Rabat Sets Conditions

Advanced discussions are reportedly underway within the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding a possible awarding of the hosting rights for the 2028 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to Morocco, according to information reported by journalist Romain Molina.

This option is emerging in a particular context. Changes to the AFCON calendar and frequency—with a return envisaged to a four-year cycle thereafter—have put CAF under time pressure. With the 2028 edition approaching rapidly, few African countries are currently considered capable of being ready to host the tournament within the required timelines.

Initially seen as a potential candidate, Egypt is reportedly not, at this stage, fully willing to position itself to host the competition. Faced with this reluctance, CAF is said to have turned to Morocco, drawing on the country’s recent experience and well-developed infrastructure.

However, Rabat would be setting certain conditions for its involvement. According to Romain Molina, one of these conditions is linked to the performance of the Atlas Lions at the upcoming AFCON, with Morocco reportedly conditioning its agreement on winning the tournament.

So far, there has been no official communication from CAF or the Royal Moroccan Football Federation confirming these discussions, which remain at the level of internal negotiations.
