❤️YOU DON’T NEED TESTIMONY FROM DEMONS
👤Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc.DSc.DD

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us…The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour (Acts 16:16-18).

From what we just read, someone might wonder, why was Paul grieved, wasn’t the girl telling the truth? Paul and his companions were indeed servants of the most high God, and that’s what the girl was chanting. Well, Paul perceived that she was speaking by an evil spirit, that’s why he was grieved, turned to the girl and commanded the evil spirit to come out of her in the Name of Jesus, and she was instantly free.

The girl’s words might have been factual, but we don’t need the testimony from demons to tell us who we are. It brings to mind the words of Jesus in John 5:34, "But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved" (John 5:34). The Lord didn’t need human approval, let alone the testimony of demons. Mark 1:23-25 says, “And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.” The Father had already testified of Jesus, and His works also bore witness to His divine mission (John 5:36-37).

Likewise, Paul understood that no testimony from demons, even if factual, was acceptable. Some people might feel a sense of pride or validation if a demon were to recognize their spiritual authority. However, we must understand that our validation comes from Christ, not from the acknowledgement of men or demons.

When the girl declared, "These men are the servants of the most high God," it was not a godly declaration but a deceptive act of the devil hiding behind her voice. Paul’s anger wasn’t from a human point of view; rather, he was spiritually grieved. This is why he commanded the spirit to come out of her. You must also reject any voice of the devil that pretends to speak for God, and cast them out when they manifest themselves.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the authority we have in Christ Jesus. I stand firm in the truth of your Word, led by your Spirit always to discern every deceptive voice and reject anything that is not from you. My validation is from Christ alone, and I exercise his authority with boldness and wisdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

❤️DIVINE WORSHIP
👤 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc.DSc.DD

"For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son..." (Romans 1:9).

What a remarkable statement Paul made in the verse above. It's amazing to serve God, not with the flesh, but with your spirit. This is true divine worship, where all you do—your whole life—is a life of worship. That's why God's people everywhere must be taught and trained to respond to Him with their spirits because faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.

In the New Testament, there’re several words translated into English as "worship." One of them is 'latreuo,' which means to serve God as seen in Romans 1:9. Another word that’s more familiar to many is 'proskuneo,' which is often translated as worship and refers to an act of worship.

For example, in Matthew 4 during the temptation of Jesus, when the devil offered Him the kingdoms of the world, Jesus responded, "...Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship (proskuneo) the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" (Matthew 4:10). Here, worship is an act—a physical expression like lifting hands, singing, bowing, or prostrating oneself.

Then there's another one, which is a state of mind, described by the word 'sebomai.' This denotes a religious disposition or mindset, where one might engage in certain religious practices out of tradition or reverence without necessarily knowing or loving God deeply.

This was the case with the woman named Lydia in Thyatira, described in the Bible as one who worshipped God—a term indicating religious reverence rather than an actual relationship. Jesus addressed such practices, saying, "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me" (Matthew 15:8). But she gave heed to Paul’s message and was converted (Acts 16:14).

When hearts are distant from God, worship becomes vain, as it substitutes doctrines of men for true spiritual connection. But true worship, however, involves serving God with your spirit—an intimate, heartfelt communion with Him—aligning your spirit with His in genuine devotion. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for revealing to me the essence of true worship. I serve you with my spirit, to live in intimate communion with you every day. My life, resources, thoughts, words and actions are a continual offering of worship, reflecting your glory and purpose. I’m empowered by your Spirit to align my heart with your Word for my worship to be acceptable and pleasing to you as a sweet-smelling fragrance, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

💚APPLY THE HIGHER PRINCIPLES OF THE KINGDOM
👤Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc.DSc.DD

"For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Being born again, you’re not of this world; you belong in God’s Kingdom. You must carry this consciousness every day, that you’re from above. In John 17:14, the Lord Jesus, referring to His disciples said, “… they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." So, you're in this world, but not of this world.

The Lord Jesus beautifully exemplified this when he referred to Himself as the Son of man who is in heaven, even while physically present on earth: "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven" (John 3:13). He lived by the principles of the Kingdom of heaven while dwelling here among men, and He was victorious on every count.

As Christians, you’re to navigate this earthly life, guided by the spiritual principles and values of God's Kingdom. This Kingdom-consciousness empowers you to live with a heavenly perspective here on earth. In fact, if you read our opening verse in context, it reveals that you're meant to live from the inside out—from your spirit—and heaven is in your spirit. The Bible says, “...He has also set eternity in the human heart...” (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV).

Live from heaven. This consciousness will impact everything about your life, including your health. This is important, because oftentimes, there’re those who wonder why certain “faithful” and committed Christians suffer terrible calamities. Some even get sick and die sick. Well, you have to understand that health isn't a “reward” for serving God; the Bible doesn't promise that.

Instead, the reward of your faithful service is reserved for you in heaven. When we get there, the rewards for our service will be announced, and we'll return to the new earth to enjoy them. However, here on earth, it’s your responsibility to apply Kingdom principles—use the Word of God—to live transcendently and keep your physical body in health. So, keep your focus on the Word; speak it forth always. Be a doer of the Word and refuse to be moved by sensory perceptions.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege to live by your Word and apply Kingdom principles. I refuse to be moved by the challenges of this world, but I align my entire being—spirit, soul, and body—with your will and purposes. Thank you for the victory I have in Christ Jesus. Amen.

PLEASE START YOUR DAY WITH THIS. READ THIS CAREFULLY AND LEARN SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT👇👇

PASTOR TT EDUN WRITES ON TIMES AND SEASONS
Years ago. I think it's close to 25 odd years now. I had a one on one conversation with Pastor Chris. He told me to be conscious of times and seasons in my life because God said that as long as the earth remains, seasons will remain

He said that many people are not conscious of times and seasons.

Timing.
There's a right time to do the right thing.

The right thing at the wrong time is wrong.

There's never a right time to do the wrong thing.

Then he told me this: The right time for some people to get married has passed. They were too busy judging potential spouses using the wrong standards that they missed the season.

According to Pastor, some people say: I will never marry a teacher. I will never marry a teacher. Suppose its God's perfect plan for you to marry a teacher. And you end up marrying a doctor because that's who you have always desired (God is supposed to give you the desire of your heart, right?). No matter how long the marriage or how many children you have, you have "jonsed". Or missed it.

Pastor said to me: God always planned to have a king for Israel. Years before, Jacob had prophesied the kingship to Judah. But the elders of Israel missed the timing and went for Saul.

Saul was the tallest man in Israel. Head and shoulders above everyone else. But he wasn't God's timing. Yet, God anointed him as king. But when Goliath came a-calling, Saul's anointing was no match for Goliath's boasting.

David was smaller in size, status and anointing than Saul. But David had one thing going for him. Character.

THERE ARE IMPORTANT THINGS TO WORK ON NOW:

1. Knowing God's timing and seasons and aligning yourself to it.

2. Understanding that God will give you the desires of your heart can be read in 2 ways:

i. God will give you what you desire (more popular interpretation)

ii. God will give you what you SHOULD desire (less known interpretation)

3. The wisdom of God. In choosing a spouse, people grow. David began as a shepherd boy. Jacob was a fugitive. Daniel was a captive slave. Joseph was a convict. Rahab was a pr******te. Ruth was a widow.
God's destiny is not written on the forehead.

4. Don't disqualify people because of a history they can't change. Rahab. Moses. Matthew.

5. Be wise. Don't be ruled by what attracts you. Some dangerous people were very attractive. Saul. Absalom. Eliab.
Then again, some of the best people were very attractive. David. Daniel. Joseph.

Don't use your head. Follow God's Word. Absalom's head (hair) was his downfall.

Build your spirit's sensitivity.

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker:

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

God bless you.

⚠️ NO PASTOR CURSES OR THREATENS ⚠️ Rev.Dr. Chris oyakhilome Dsc, DD

No pastor should be found cursing or threatening a member of the body of Christ. Remember in the Bible from the book of 2 Chron 18:1-34 , king Ahab wanted to go to war to battle against Ramothgilead and the Bible says he consulted his friend who was the king of Judah king Jehoshaphat. The king of Judah proposed to king ahab , shall we consults the prophets at least to hear what God says about this battle. Ahab sent for the prophets without knowing a lying spirit had gone into the mouth of his prophets to utter lies against his defeat.

However they prophesied good to the king about the battle, but king Jehoshaphat was not convinced about this battle and he sort to speak with any other prophet whom the king had who hasn’t spoken yet. And of course the king ahab hatred that prophet because he always spoke Gods mind about everything nevertheless the prophet was called to speak and he prophesied something that was displeasing to king ahab and the battle against Ramothgilead. Now something terrible happens in verse 23 (Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak unto thee?)

Zedekiah was the most senior prophet amongs the prophet whom the lying spirit hath possessed. And smooth micaiah on the face and said how did the spirit pass from me to you to speak to you. HE RESPONDED IN ANGER. Now if we were in doubt about prophet Zedekiah who slapped the true prophet, just by that simple action of Anger we can tell that zedekiah obviously was not been moved by the spirit of God. The only time Jesus responded in anger was when they abused his fathers house, never anything personal about himself.

So as a man of God never curse or threaten anyone for what they did or said to you. Have the right attitude always and allow the spirit of God to rule your ministry. The same case of anger was found with Samuel, God said to Samuel why are you angry, the people didn’t offend you they offended God so why are you Angry. Be careful that your ministry does not become a personal issue, if you are serving God, Serve him truly.
