NEVER DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS.

God can take something that looks small, ordinary, and insignificant and turn it into something great, influential, and globally recognized.

If you think I’m lying, check Matthew 2:6.

Bethlehem was not the most prominent place. Yet from Bethlehem came a ruler whose influence would extend far beyond its borders.

That reminds me of something:

Your beginning does not determine your destination.

You may be starting with limited resources.
You may not have the recognition yet.
You may be building with a small team.
You may be working from a place nobody notices.

Keep building.

Because greatness is not always obvious at the beginning.

Sometimes, what looks small is simply the starting point of something much bigger.

I have learned to respect small beginnings because I understand that God does not need a big platform to create a big impact.

So if your vision is bigger than your current reality, don’t be discouraged.

Start where you are.
Build with what you have.
Stay faithful to the process.
Keep developing yourself.
Keep serving.
Keep showing up.

One day, what people called “small” may become the very thing they recognize globally.

And when that happens, they will realize:

It was never too small.
It was simply at the beginning.

CHANGE DOESN’T HIDE. TRANSFORMATION DOESN’T HIDE.

One thing I have come to understand about personal growth and leadership is this:

If transformation is real, it becomes visible.

You don’t have to announce that you have changed.
Your mindset will show it.
Your decisions will show it.
Your discipline will show it.
Your relationships will show it.
Your results will show it.

At our organization Cremah africa under the profound leadership of my mentor Lady Risa, we are committed to building people and developing leaders—not just through words, but through experiences that produce measurable growth.

And as a coach, this is what I look for:

Not just people who say they want to grow, but people whose lives are becoming evidence of that growth.

Change doesn’t hide.
Transformation doesn’t hide.

When the work is real, the results will speak.

Last week was different. And honestly, I needed it.

At our church Christ Light Assemblies Buea, under the profound leadership of our father Apostle Samuel E. Molombe, we have an annual program called the International Mentorship Conference (IMC) — a week-long retreat dedicated to learning the mysteries of God’s Word, spiritual growth, mentorship, reflection, and other spirit-edifying activities.

For the past week, I intentionally took a little break from social media to fully immerse myself in the experience.

That’s why you haven’t seen much content from me lately.

But yesterday, Sunday, we wrapped up the conference, and I’m coming out of it refreshed, recharged, and with a lot more to share.

Sometimes, growth requires you to step away from the noise so you can return with greater clarity.

And now… I’m back. 👊🏽

Meanwhile, we still have unfinished business.

We’ll be wrapping up our Leadership Series, which I didn’t get to complete before the conference.

So, I have a question for you: Do we still have the appetite to learn?

Because I certainly have more to share.
Let’s finish what we started.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 🌍

Today, we celebrate the beauty of being young.

We celebrate youth leaders like myself.
We celebrate purpose-driven youths, impact makers, and young people who dare to step out and make a difference.

We celebrate the energy, creativity, courage, ideas, and endless possibilities that come with being young.

We celebrate the young entrepreneur creating opportunities.
The innovator solving problems.
The leader serving others.
The creative telling a new story.
The changemaker making a difference right where they are.

Being a youth is not just a season of possibility. It is a season of responsibility, influence, and impact.

I believe we young people are not merely leaders of tomorrow, We are contributors, builders, problem-solvers, and leaders today and that comes with a responsibility.

To every young person:

Your voice matters.
Your story matters.
Your ideas matter.
Your life is a solution to someone’s problem.
Your contribution matters.

Don’t spend your youth only preparing to become someone someday.

Build yourself now.

Discover your purpose.
Develop your capacity.
Build habits that strengthen your future.
Use what you have.
Create meaningful impact.

You don’t have to change the whole world at once.

Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Make a difference.

Today, I celebrate YOU, I celebrate US

Not just for who we are today, but for the person we have the capacity to become.

ONE ACT OF LOVE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD. ❤️

One act of kindness can heal a lot of wounds and ignite hope in the hearts of people who feel forgotten.

Yesterday , Saturday, August 8th, I was privileged to be part of the team from our church Christ Light Assemblies Buea, under the leadership of our Global Lead Pastor, Apostle Samuel E. Molombe, that visited the city of Limbe.

For some time now, several communities in Limbe have been severely affected by floods and landslides, leaving families displaced, destroying properties, and causing unimaginable pain.

As a church of Christ, one of our mandates is to reveal Jesus through love. And yesterday, we chose to put that love into action.

We visited over four communities in Limbe and distributed food and other essential items to over 270 people affected by the disaster.

But beyond the items we shared, we shared hope.

Seeing the joy on their faces as they received the little we brought, hearing their prayers, and watching them give God all the glory because they believed He had heard their cry and sent help truly touched my heart. Honestly, it was an emotional experience for me.

Sometimes, you don’t need to have everything to make a difference.

Sometimes, what you have is enough to become someone’s answer to prayer.

I am grateful to God for His provision.

I am grateful to my father and my church for making this possible.

And to everyone in Limbe who has been affected by the floods and landslides, I sympathize with you. My prayers are with you.

You are not forgotten.
You are not alone.
Help is coming. ❤️

May God continue to strengthen every family affected and restore everything that has been lost.

THE ART OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP (Part 4)

POSITION, EGO OR SERVICE?

Not everyone who leads is a leader in the truest sense of the word.

Some lead because they have a position, Some lead because they want recognition, and some lead because they genuinely want to serve, develop, and make others better.

The difference isn’t always in the title they carry, the difference is in the heart behind their leadership.

Let’s look at three different approaches to leadership.

1. POSITIONAL LEADERS

“Do it because I said so.”

Positional leaders derive their influence primarily from the authority attached to their title or position.

Their leadership often revolves around:

* Control
* Authority
* Fear
* Compliance
* Protecting their position

Their greatest concern may be:

“Will people obey me?”

They use their position to make people follow instructions, but they may not necessarily invest in helping those people grow.

A title can give you authority.

It cannot automatically give you influence.

2. EGO-DRIVEN LEADERS

“Look at what I’ve achieved.”

Ego-driven leaders are primarily motivated by recognition, status, personal gain, and the desire to be seen as important.

Their leadership revolves around:

* Recognition
* Status
* Personal ambition
* Praise
* Self-promotion

Their question is often:

“How does this make me look?”

They may build people, but often only when it benefits their reputation.

They want followers who admire them rather than people they can empower.

When ego becomes the center of leadership, people become tools for personal validation.

3. SERVANT LEADERS

“How can I make you better?”

Servant leaders lead from a place of:

* Love
* Purpose
* Humility
* Responsibility
* Service
* Empowerment

Their question is different:

“How can my leadership add value to your life?”

They don’t measure leadership by how many people serve them.

They measure it by how many people become better because they served them.

A servant leader doesn’t need to constantly remind people that they are the leader. Their influence speaks for them.

THE BIG DIFFERENCE

A positional leader seeks obedience.

An ego-driven leader seeks recognition.

A servant leader seeks transformation.

A positional leader asks:

“Will you obey me?”

An ego-driven leader asks:

“Will you recognize me?”

A servant leader asks:

“Will you become better because I served you?”

That’s the difference.

Because leadership is not ultimately about getting people to move for you.

It’s about helping people move toward who they are capable of becoming.

THE REAL TEST OF LEADERSHIP

You can have a title and still lack influence.

You can have followers and still fail to develop leaders.

You can command obedience and still fail to earn people’s hearts.

But when people become wiser, stronger, more confident, more capable, and more purposeful because they encountered your leadership…

That’s impact.

And that’s the heart of servant leadership.

REFLECTION

If the people you lead were asked:

“How has this person’s leadership made you better?”

What would they say?

That’s a question worth answering before asking people to call you a leader.

ARE YOU AN ASSET OR A LIABILITY?

Are you an asset to your boyfriend or girlfriend, or are you a liability?

Are you an asset or a liability to your family?

To your friendships?
To your church?
To your organization?

To the people who constantly invest their time, energy, resources, and trust in you?

An asset adds value.
A liability consistently takes value without contributing enough in return.

An asset brings solutions.
A liability constantly brings problems.

An asset can be trusted with responsibility.
A liability needs to be constantly managed.

An asset makes people better.
A liability drains the people around them.

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about asking yourself an honest question:

“Does my presence make the people and places connected to me better or worse?”

Your relationships should not only benefit you.
Your family should not only provide for you.
Your organization should not only develop you.
Your church should not only serve you.

You should be adding value too.

So, take a moment and look at your life.

Which are you — an ASSET or a LIABILITY?

And more importantly…

What are you going to do about it?

THE ART OF SERVANT LEADERSHIP (Part 3)

Four Defining Qualities of a Servant Leader

Servant leadership is not merely a leadership style—it is a way of life. It is reflected in the choices leaders make every day, especially when no one is watching.

Here are four defining qualities that distinguish a servant leader from the rest.

1. Humility Over Ego

A servant leader does not lead to prove they are important; they lead to make others better.

Humility allows a leader to keep learning, admit mistakes, celebrate the success of others, and put the mission above personal recognition.

Pride seeks attention. Humility creates transformation.

2. Listening Over Shouting

Great leaders do more than speak—they listen.

Listening builds trust, strengthens relationships, and helps leaders understand the real needs of the people they serve. A servant leader listens to understand before seeking to be understood.

People feel valued when they know they have been heard.

3. Influence Over Control

True leadership is not about controlling people through fear, authority, or position.

It is about inspiring people through character, example, and service.

A servant leader earns influence by consistently adding value to the lives of others.

Titles may command compliance, but influence inspires commitment.

4. Purpose Over Popularity

Servant leaders are driven by purpose, not applause.

They are willing to make difficult decisions, stand for what is right, and remain faithful to their calling even when it is unpopular.

Popularity is temporary, but purpose creates lasting impact.

NB: Servant leadership is not measured by how many people follow you. It is measured by how many people become stronger, wiser, and more purposeful because you chose to serve them.

Reflection Question:

Which of these four qualities do you need to strengthen most in your leadership journey, and what practical step will you take this week to grow in it?
