It's the last day of our Selfcare challenge guys and I'm super excited.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Let's talk retreats,

Retreats are one of my best moments,

For those who understand spiritual disciplines, Every month end or at the beginning of every month it's always important to just stay away from the noise and be with your Lord and yourself

During retreats ,you get to study God's Word,pray more,hear God better.

You will see areas that need to be fixed in your life as a whole.

To some of you retreats are normal , you retreat every Month end , begining of a month , beginning of the year ,end of year ,days or weeks before your birthdays etc

The consciousness of retreating during new seasons in our lives is vital for everyone.

Retreating helps you begin new seasons Refreshed and ready to overcome triumphantly.

Those who have been able to retreat even once can understand the effect it has on their mental health.

If you've never thought of retreating ,I think it's high time you considered it 😊

As days go by ,It's good to periodically review your vision board to assess your progress, celebrate achievements, and make adjustments if needed.

As your goals evolve, update your vision board to ensure it remains aligned with your current aspirations.

There are things that might be added, others might be removed , this will just depend on what level of growth you find yourself at the moment.

I'm just amazed at how we've been able to pull through right up to this week.

This week I want you to remember this ,

Self-care isn't just face masks, pedicure and manicure, and Movie binges,

Learning how to prioritize self-care is all about being in tune with yourself and your own needs.

Self-care isn't a luxury,it's a necessity.
You have to do it, and it should be a regular part of your daily life.

SELFCARE CHALLENGE DAY 24: WATCH A MOVIE OR SERIES

I intentionally put this challenge today cos I knew it's a weekend,so there's no reason for anyone to give a complain.

Though some of us nurses will complain because we're working through out this weekend and I understand.
Don't bother,you can still catch up on your off day😊

So ,with the numerous movies which have been released this year , Chose any ,get yourself some popcorn 🍿 and just Chillax.

As for me I'll be watching Abattoir, a movie by Mount Zion Faith Ministries

Having people to look up to can encourage you to imagine what’s possible.

These important figures are a reminder that when someone has a strong desire to fulfil a dream or make a difference to society, they can achieve it.

While everyone’s path through life is unique, it can give hope and a sense of direction to see someone having achieved goals that might seem hard to reach.

By recognizing the individuals who inspire you and learning from their stories, you can tap into a wellspring of motivation and determination

As a Nurse Educator and Content Creator I have lots of Nurse educators I look up to both home and abroad.

Though I might not tell them but I make sure I look at how they do things and learn from them.

We all know showers are necessary for staying clean and fresh , but they also have some powerful psychological benefits like decreasing anxiety and depression, relieving stress, boosting self-confidence, increasing energy, and fighting insomnia.

The best way to shower in this kind of weather(𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿) is to have a Cold shower or Have cold baths every now and then 🌊

Cold water is a shock to the body that activates the sympathetic nervous system and releases noradrenaline, which increases energy and alertness.

Additionally, by lowering your body temperature, cold showers lower melatonin levels and leaves you ready for the day ahead.

Studies have also shown that ,having long evening baths or showers in hot water also helps you fall asleep quicker and improves sleep quality.

𝐍.𝐁 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

For others,a warm bath will do while for us 𝐋𝐞 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐍𝐓 🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲 🇨🇲 😆 (and other African Countries) ,what we need at the moment are cold showers or baths cos the weather is not weathering at all
