The ghost Billionaire who owns Santa Lucia - largest chain of Supermarkets in Cameroon 🎩💯🇨🇲.

If you've lived in Douala or Yaoundé for a month you must have come across a Santa Lucia complex or heard about it. Yes it's that popular in the two most powerful regions of Cameroon. Have you heard about it's founder before ?

Santa Lucia was launched 18 years by André Léopold TIMO whom I call the "ghost billionaire". The man who refused the spotlight despite achieving enormous success and let just his business shine through its services and his hardwork to become the largest supermarket in Cameroon.

André Léopold TIMO was born on the 30th of April 1972 in the West Region specifically Bafoussam. He launched Santa Lucia in 2006. You know the saying "Money doesn't like noise" right ? This statement was created for him. None of his pictures are online.

As of 2024, The complex had grown to have 14 branches with 7 in Yaoundé and 7 in Douala. He did all of this competing against big international giants like SPAR, CARREFOUR and other local competitors.

Regardless of their services or your experience there, Léopold and his company solved one of the biggest problems in Cameroon when it comes to distribution of products.

We hope one day he'll come out and mentor the young entrepreneurs who will lead the future.

He returned the 305,000 FCFA that was mistakenly sent to his mobile money account.
Immediately after receiving the money, he called Ngong, the person who had sent it, but he didn't answer the call.

Ngong, whom his boss had sent to buy materials with the money, thought he had successfully paid. However, he had mistakenly sent the money to the wrong number.

He kept calling, but Ngong didn't answer. When Ngong returned to his boss, he first told him he had sent a fake alert to the supplier he was supposed to buy from.

While they were still talking, he called for the 15th time, he immediately transferred the 305,000 FCFA back.

Ngong appreciated him, and this was his response:

"You're welcome, bro. It's okay for such mistakes to happen. It just serves as a lesson to always be careful when dealing with other people's money. I knew nothing could happen to me even if I didn't send the money back, but that's not how my parents brought me up. Stay blessed. 🙏"– Riyihan

Good people still exist,he received 305k and refunded it back

"I wish to share what happened to me yesterday,,🥹

Yesterday my boss asked me to go get some few materials in town worth over 310k, I’m someone I dislike walking with money in my pockets ,and I also dislike picking strange calls, I had the money in my phone,,so after buying I made a transfer of 305k to the seller,, since we use to by the all the time the seller didn’t even bother to check his phone, he just asked have you send the money I replied,YES, he said okay pls greet ur boss for me

Few minutes later when I was going back one particular number stated calling,,I ignored
The strange number called more than 15times,i ignored,,,I reach work ma boss start ask me say I take tin dem for that man I no pay why ,,I was shocked I said I paid na, he said no the man just called him now that I did a fake transfer to him ,he hasn’t received any money,,, ma skin fes hot
I enter look messages and transactions for ma phone ei show say I be mistake number😭😭

I check the number way be di call me and the number way I mistake senam for Dey na the same number,,, immediately I want call the number so the number call me again,, I picked and the person was this young man here Riyihan 🥹🥹🥹

He said I just sent a strange money in his phone that I should send my number so he can refund ,, my boss and I looked at each other for about 3 minutes and was shocked and short of words,, I sent a number this boy refund the exact 305k back 🥹,, inside that money ma boss move 50k give the boy sote talk say ei want see the boy by this weekend,, listen since yesterday till now I haven’t slept , just wondering and shocking

One week ago, we made a tough decision to create this new page KIMBI BLOG News.

The only thing we had was hope and faith that you will turn up for us and you truly surprised us.

This reminded me that Facebook did not just unpublish a page or 8 years of work. It was a whole family that had created jobs, empowered many, changed lives and made stars.

At Mboppi Market early this morning, a woman was allegedly caught stealing a bag of rice from a supermarket.

According to witnesses, a customer had finished shopping and was paying at the counter while supermarket workers took her groceries outside. When she came out, she discovered that her bag of rice was missing.

She immediately informed the workers. People nearby said they had seen another woman carrying the bag of rice in a different direction. The workers chased after her and caught her just as she was about to get on a motorcycle.

In tears, the woman said she was a widow and the mother of seven children.

Moved by her story, people at the scene decided to forgive her. They contributed money and bought her a bag of rice instead.
