Market Structure is the framework that shows how price moves over time.

It reveals whether buyers or sellers are in control and helps traders understand the market's current direction.

Without understanding market structure, every trade becomes a guess.

With it, every trade has context.

Market Structure helps traders:

• Identify the prevailing trend
• Recognize potential reversals
• Trade with the dominant market direction
• Improve entry and exit decisions

There are three primary market structures:

Bullish Structure
• Higher Highs (HH)
• Higher Lows (HL)

Buyers are in control.

Bearish Structure
• Lower Highs (LH)
• Lower Lows (LL)

Sellers are in control.

Range Structure
• Price moves between support and resistance.

Neither buyers nor sellers have a clear advantage.

Professional traders don't just look at candles.

They study the sequence of highs and lows.

A change in that sequence often signals a change in market sentiment.

Market Structure becomes even more powerful when combined with:

• Break of Structure (BOS)
• Change of Character (CHoCH)
• Order Blocks (OB)
• Fair Value Gaps (FVG)
• Liquidity Sweeps

Always start your analysis with the higher timeframe.

Determine the market structure first.

Then use lower timeframes to refine your entry.

Structure tells you who is in control.

Liquidity tells you where price wants to go.

Confluence tells you when to execute.
