“I was very happy when I finally got pregnant with my third baby after months of trying. My husband and family were excited, and as social media influencers we shared the journey to inspire others.

My pregnancy went well without complications until my delivery day. I was already 42 weeks pregnant, so the doctor decided to induce labor on February 19.

The induction started at 12:00 pm, and I gave birth at 9:55 pm. My baby girl weighed 3.9 kg. Sádly, she didn’t cry immediately after birth and had to be rushed for 0xygen.

Later she crïed a little, and when I finally saw her, she was beautiful and strong with her eyes open. I touched her and told her mummy was there and couldn’t wait to carry her and kiss her forehead. We stayed watching over her all night, hoping she would recover.

The next morning the doctors told us her chances were only 50% because she still could not breathe on her own. Despite all their efforts, after a few hours they called us and told us our baby had passed away.

The baby I carried for more than nine months… I never even held her alive in my arms.
We did not expect this, but we cannot question God. We have accepted it and will try to move on, even though it is very painful.

I miss you so much, my baby Eliana — the name I had chosen for you. From mummy, daddy, and your siblings, we love you so much. Rest safely in God’s hands.”
