*The workshop ongoing at Tiko Council is for the creation, Organisation and Functioning of Village and Neighborhood Committee. The training to end on Tuesday September 30, 2025 had in attendance Tiko Council fourth Deputy Mayor, Waindim Rudolf, Secretary General, Mrs Eri ITA Tatason, Communal Développement Officer, HRH Mbollo Ndedi Yves Patrice, head of Local Solutions, Mr Julius Sone, Bureau head of Finance, Fombon Patrick amongst others*

*It should be noted that Tiko Municipality has 18 Zones*

*Ayuk Joseph Orock aka Pa Tiko is the president of Tiko Motorcycle riders Association*

*Ayuk Joseph Orock was voted on Tuesday September 23, 2025 during the Election of Tiko Motorcycle riders Association TIMOCRA, that took place at the Tiko Council Banquet Hall*

*Of the 263 Votes casted, Ayuk Joseph Orock had 239 Votes as to 23 votes for Alain Tabit with one null vote*

*Ayuk Joseph Orock will be assisted by Tamfu Ndi as vice president for a period of 5years*

*The Election was supervised by the Assistant Divisional officer for Tiko alongside the fourth Deputy Mayor Tiko Council, Waindim Rudolf*

*The Mayor of Tiko Council, HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III at the end of the election came and gave his blessings to the new executive of TIMOCRA and encouraged them to work in unity for the growth of the Association*

*October 12 Presidential Election...Fako IV Tiko CPDM Militants Strategize ahead of Campaigns*

Militants of the ruling Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) party Fako IV section Tiko, met on Saturday, September 20, 2025, to prepare for the upcoming presidential election campaigns.

The gathering, summoned by Section President Hon. Efite Andrew, saw a large turnout of party members unified in their resolve.

During the working Session which was presided over by Fako IV CPDM Communal Campaign leader, Senator Lionel Fonderson, militants were urged to mobilize their sub-sections and branches for a smooth campaign ahead of the October 12 election.

Senator Fonderson emphasized the need for them to be stronger than ever in their support for their natural candidate and party chairman, President Paul Biya.

​The meeting drew a diverse group of attendees, including the Mayor of Tiko Council, HRH Dr. Peter Ikome Mesoso III, executives from various Sub-Sections, Traditional Rulers from the Tiko Sub-Division, and dedicated party militants.

Speeches were delivered by notable figures, including Mayor Mesoso, who called for unity among militants. The event also featured a fundraising drive led by Senator Fonderson, and the Traditional Rulers offered their blessings to the senator.

​The meeting concluded with a strong declaration from the Fako IV Tiko militants, who pledged a 100% vote for President Paul Biya in the upcoming election.

*IVFCAM trains Council officials in Fako Division on effective Functioning of Village and Quarter Committees*

A Non Governmental organization, Inter Faith Vision Foundation Cameroon, IVFCAM on September 18, 2025, at the Limbe 1 Council conference hall organiséd a one day training for Council officials in Fako Division.

The meeting brought together Council officials from Tiko Council, Idenau Council and Limbe 1, 2, and 3 councils.They were trained by the Interfaith Vision Foundation Cameroon ( IVFCam), on tools to be used for the effective functioning of the village and quarter committees (VQCs).

These tools will create platforms for the villages and quarter committees to be much more organized for their effective contribution to local development.

Some of the tools explored during the ine day gathering were the Minutes Taking format for the Village Quarter Committees, Procedure for election, Action Plan, Comprehensive monthly and yearly Action Report, Community Needs/issues tracker amongst others.

The workshop ended with a question and answer session by the participants and the organiser.

Tiko Council, the gateway city was represented at the workshop by the fourth Deputy Mayor, Waindim Rudolf and Chief of Administration, Mrs Coretta Mesinze Njie Makia.
