En ce mois de sensibilisation à l’autonomisation des femmes, Gurl Boss Production met à l’honneur une figure emblématique du cinéma camerounais : Christelle Magne Tamo !

En tant que directrice de la photographie et réalisatrice, Christelle s’efforce depuis plusieurs années de briser le plafond de verre du septième art.

Son travail remarquable a contribué à de nombreux films parmi lesquels : Mon Prince d’Amour de Ngome Joséphine et Mapoux Félix , Ma Face Cachée de Deneuve Djobon Sita Bella, la Première d’Eugénie Metala, et Elles Inspirent de Lila Carlier. Elle a également été directrice de la photographie adjointe pour Walaander de Thierry Ntamack.

Christelle est une véritable source d’inspiration pour toutes les femmes créatrices et un symbole de détermination dans l’industrie cinématographique. We celebrate you

International Day of the Girl Child is an international observance day declared by the United Nations; it is also called the Day of Girls and the International Day of the Girl.

October 11, 2012, was the first Day of the Girl Child. The observation supports more opportunity for girls and increases awareness of gender inequality faced by girls worldwide based upon their gender. This inequality includes areas such as access to education, nutrition, legal rights, medical care, and protection from discrimination, violence against women and forced child marriage.

The celebration of the day also “reflects the successful emergence of girls and young women as a distinct cohort in development policy, programming, campaigning and research.

This special event will be accompanied by the awarding of grant prizes to our exceptional students in the complementary course on directing and acting in cinemas,Department of Arts and Archeology, class of Mme Tatapong Beyala .

We would be delighted if you could join us for this special occasion. It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase your hard work and dedication to your craft, as well as to celebrate the achievements of your peers.
