Empowering Misaje Sub-Division: The Vision of Club 12

In a bid to transform their homeland, the sons and daughters of Misaje Sub-Division have come together to develop their area, inspired by the unity and collective effort embodied by Club 12. Named after the 12 villages that comprise the sub-division, the club aims to elevate Misaje to the standards of major cities like Yaoundé.

Under the leadership of H.E. Prof. Fuh Carlistus Gentry, a dedicated son of Misaje, the club has set out to achieve remarkable feats. Their vision includes developing infrastructure, such as roads, and constructing a clubhouse that will serve as a hub for community activities and a symbol of pride for the sub-division. Additionally, they plan to establish a big hotel to attract visitors and boost local tourism.

POWA SUPPORTS CHILDREN OF FALLEN OFFICERS WITH SCHOOL MATERIALS

The Police Wives Association (POWA) has donated didactic materials to children of fallen police officers from the six divisions of the South West Region. The government has disbursed 406 million FCFA to nearly 5,000 cocoa producers in the South West Region as part of its support to boost cocoa production. On August 28, 2025, the Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, presided over the ceremony at the Buea Town Stadium, which was filled with excitement and anticipation. The event was attended by top personalities, including Honorable MP of Kumba, Tabot Lawson Bakia, and the South West Governor, Bernard Okalia Bilai.
