Robert Mbah Jama is one of those players that had a successful career in the local league. His days in Canon were exceptional. He used his imposing physique to destabilize every defense he came across. He didnt waste any opportunity to score.

Like Robert Mbah Jama like Shufai Lailam Edward, former Kumbo Striker FC attacker whose left foot gave goal keepers a nightmare. Today, he is one of the highest traditional authorities in Nso. He is Kumbo's football legend

Robert Mbah Jama aka Honorable

Unfortunately, I never watched Mbah Jama play but after his appointment as Team Manager of the Olympic Lions I had a talk with some old football lovers and got knowledge of what a fine striker he was.

Jama played for Electsport, Victoria United alias "OPOPO", Mount Cameroon, Canon Yaoundé, Tiko United, US Bitam in Gabon and Young Africans Sports Club in Tanzania.

The former Kpakum Captain also played for the U-23 lions and the indomitable lions and definitely one of the top strikers Cameroon’s top flight football has had.
