A pastor, Apostle Hilary Ngwa, dressed in female attire on Easter Sunday to test whether his congregation could recognise him, using the stunt as a vivid illustration of Christ’s unexpected return.
Even his own children didn’t realise it was him.
The pastor of the City of Refuge Church Bakoko later explained that the act was meant to teach lessons on faith, recognition, and the need to see beyond appearances.
This was not his first unconventional sermon. He once disguised himself as something else.
