New video about Uyghurs is out! For those who think Uyghur culture is disappearing in China: To be honest with you, I personally know many Uyghur people in China and they call themselves Chinese, they like China and they like living in safe country! They said before 2012 leaving home after 18pm in Urumqi or other city in Xinjiang was terribly but terribly dangerous!! Not it is very safe! Yes I agree there are a lot of solders in the streets and for a short visit, I felt uncomfortable too! But they still can be themselves! The people continue spreading their culture to younger generation or family works together involving children! Up there in the west of China, culture is very strong , it goes from Ancient Silk Road.. but the difference snow is, we live in 21 century so you can’t expect young people walk with camels or cows 🐄 in the mountains .. no one does it anymore! But the language is very strong , family roots are very strong too! More people speak Uyghur than Chinese Mandarine… so there are pros and cons in Xinjiang and I don’t agree what is left is only for tourists! I visited villages outside of cities and life goes there as it was somewhere in Turkey or Central Asia! many videos about Uyghurs and Xinjiang province are out on my YouTube below 👇
