Glad to have my series "Green Hills and Blue Waters" featured in the group exhibition "Urban Landscape International Photography Art Exhibition"!

Some thoughts behind this series:
I have traveled to many corners of the world and seen countless soaring skyscrapers—majestic and towering, they stand as monuments to human achievement. Like Gothic cathedrals, they are stairways toward the sublime. Yet humanity often forgets that the sublime is inseparable from sorrow. Behind the grandeur of human power lies a profound fragility and solitude. A farmer may not write poetry, for to them, nature is hidden in plain sight—too near, too lived. But when the city no longer holds mountains or rivers, it is the absence of those very landscapes that gives rise to poetry and art. In losing nature, we begin to long for it—and in that longing, we create.

My personal exhibition "A Different Story: Fu Wenjun Digital Pictorial Photography Art Exhibition" is now on view at Independent & Image Art Space until March 2, 2025.

This exhibition focuses on Fu Wenjun’s deep exploration of Digital Pictorial Photography, showcasing how he combines digital technology with traditional photography, transcending various artistic mediums such as painting, sculpture, and installation to construct a unique visual language that addresses complex contemporary social, cultural, and philosophical issues. The exhibition not only presents Fu Wenjun’s profound reflections on artistic creation but also invites the audience to explore the boundaries and possibilities of art in the digital age.
