On the evening of July 24, 2025, the “Yujian Xiashi · 2025 Summer Cuisine Tasting Gala Dinner” was successfully held at Chuanshang Restaurant, The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square.
A highlight of the event was the official debut of Da Dong’s signature “Crispy yet Non-Greasy” Roast Duck in Chongqing, now featured on Chuanshang’s menu.
The dinner was structured in four thematic chapters—Summer Prelude · Pepper Aroma, Seasonal Freshness · Delicate Fragrance, Summer Rhythm · Savory Essence, and Final Harvest · Fruity Notes. Over the course of 3.5 hours, guests enjoyed 22 meticulously crafted dishes, paired with 5 fine Chinese liquors and 4 traditional teas, delivering an immersive tasting experience that celebrated the flavors and spirit of summer.
Led by Executive Chef Charlie, the Chuanshang culinary team presented an innovative and elegant interpretation of seasonal Chinese cuisine.
