🕐On June 10, 2026, the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence and Nationhood Reception was successfully held in China Chongqing.

🥂It was a privilege to be part of this meaningful event and join distinguished guests from various sectors in commemorating this important occasion. The celebration was filled with warmth and friendship, showcasing the rich and vibrant culture of the Philippines while providing a valuable platform for cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and cooperation.

✈️In addition, earlier this year, a direct flight route between Manila and Chongqing was launched, making it easier than ever to visit Chongqing and experience its unique Mountain City culture. We look forward to welcoming more international visitors to explore this vibrant city and discover the charm of Chongqing firsthand.

🤝I look forward to participating in more international cultural exchange activities in the future and contributing to stronger people-to-people connections and international friendship.

Honored to support the Consulate General of the Philippines in Chongqing in celebrating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence. 🇵🇭Congratulations once again on the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence. Wishing the Philippines continued prosperity and its people happiness and well-being.

Beyond Chongqing's iconic skyline lies another side of the city — one shaped by mountains, traditions, and centuries-old cultural practices.

During ITAC 2026, international guests journeyed into Chongqing's counties and ethnic communities, where culture was not something displayed behind glass, but something they could actively experience.

Floating down the crystal-clear waters of Ayi River on bamboo rafts 🚣‍♀️, listening to traditional folk songs echo through the mountains , and stepping into the vibrant world of Chongqing’s ethnic cultures, visitors discovered a different rhythm of life.

Guests tried on traditional costumes and intricate silver ornaments , experienced pulse diagnosis and traditional wellness practices , and learned about cultural traditions passed down through generations.
From the delicate craftsmanship of Miao embroidery 🧵 to the rich customs and rituals preserved within local communities, every encounter offered a deeper connection to the region’s cultural heritage.

As evening fell, visitors joined local communities around a bonfire , sharing music, dance, and laughter beneath the stars. At Chiyou Jiuli City, a spectacular large-scale cultural performance brought ancient legends, ethnic traditions, and living history vividly to life 🎭.

The journey also introduced guests to the warmth of local hospitality. Traditional banquets, lively toasts, music, and shared meals turned strangers into friends .

Surrounded by rivers, mountains, canyons, and village landscapes, many visitors were surprised to discover a side of Chongqing far beyond the bustling urban center.

🌏 ITAC 2026 showcased a Chongqing where culture is not only preserved — it is lived, shared, and celebrated every day.

As the boat drifted along the river, Chongqing lit up in motion🌃🚢.

During ITAC 2026, international guests explored the city by night cruise along the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers 🌊. What appeared was not just a skyline, but a city built in layers.

Neon lights moved across the water✨. Buildings rose sharply from the riverbanks, like cliffs made of light and steel. Several guests called it a “cyberpunk dream.”

Hongya Cave glowed warm against the mountainside . Raffles City stood at the river’s edge, connecting sky and water in one vertical frame 🌉. Every turn brought a new view — bridges in light, stacked skylines, streets climbing into the night.

Above it all, drones shifted across the sky . Light patterns formed, broke, and re-formed like constellations.

Guests reacted in real time — surprise, laughter, disbelief. 💬🌏
“Feels like a sci-fi city.”
“The most vertical place I’ve ever seen.”

This is Chongqing’s 8D reality.A city where everything overlaps — river, road, light, height.

🥳ITAC 2026 invited the world to not just see Chongqing, but to move through it, feel it, and experience its rhythm from the river itself.
