From June 1 to 5, 60 diplomatic envoys from 37 countries joined the "Set Sail for the 15th Five-Year Plan: China's Growth, World's Opportunity" in Guangdong.

At the exhibition on Guangdong’s 40 years of reform and opening-up, diplomatic envoys and diplomats in China looked back at Shenzhen’s transformation from a frontier of reform into a modern innovation hub, experiencing the speed, vitality and openness of this special economic zone. Later, at the industry promotion event, they learned about Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone and Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, gaining a closer look at how Shenzhen connects international resources and promotes industrial cooperation through major opening-up platforms.

At the Museum of the Former Residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, diplomatic envoys and diplomats in China learned about the life story of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and experienced the rich historical and cultural heritage of his hometown. The delegation then visited Yakou Village, where vast rice fields, village cafés, and agriculture-culture-tourism integration offer a vivid example of Guangdong’s county-town-village development project.
