The 3rd Cunchao International Football Tournament 2026 kicked off on National Day — with a packed stadium.

The tournament is divided into a cup competition and friendly matches: 16 cup teams with 371 players, 9 friendly teams with 180 players, totaling 551 domestic and international players. The international players come from 36 countries, forming 11 teams with 199 players.

A sea of Chinese red flooded the stands. On the Cunchao field in Rongjiang, the five-star red flag flew high — and behind it, the deep love of local people for their home and country.
