RESIST THE TIDE | Paper Players' War
When conflict becomes a game, civilians always pay the price.
The Story Behind the Film
Many disputes between powers unfold like a board game. Elite competitors treat confrontation lightly, yet residents living on contested land get dragged into hostility and pushed to pick sides.
Paper Players' War illustrates this cruel reality. The farmer represents every ordinary person stuck between clashing forces. Instead of submitting to binary choices, she finds another path. The short reminds audiences not to allow ourselves to become pawns for others’ ambitions.
