With the heatwave hitting Europe this week, we wish we could be soaking up in the beautiful Loong Swim Club, designed by Li Xiang in Suzhou, China.
-
The swim is for kids and adults. A great place where parents can relax while their children learn how to swim. It also has a small reading space and different areas inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

For all those traveling to Europe this summer, take your precautions. Stay hydrated, use sunscreen and try to stay indoors (Museums, Restaurants, Galleries) during the hottest hours.

Temperatures are expected to be 20 to 30 degrees above normal, near 100 in Paris and Berlin.

My favorite part about European summers is that it is finally Ice Cream season 🍦 😋

Did you know that in many European countries ice cream parlors are closed from October 1st until March 31st (others go all the way into May 1st 🙀)?

: New Zealand 🇳🇿 is the number one Ice Cream consumer per capita/per gallon in the world 🗺, followed by the USA 🇺🇸, Australia 🇦🇺, Finland 🇫🇮 and Sweden 🇸🇪.

Santorini is an iconic island in Greece, famous for its white houses, also known as the white city, accompanied by blue skies and blue waters it is a sight that truly delights.
-
The island offers no wood to build houses, yet it had dark volcanic stones that could be used as building material.
-
However, during the summer the dark material made the houses extremely hot inside, so they decided to paint the exterior white in order to prevent the houses from absorbing the sun’s heat.
