On the morning of October 19, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of the Jingdezhen Future Ceramic Research Institute was held at the CFAC-Baitaohui Innovative Ceramic Practice Base. This moment marks the official establishment of a research platform that integrates ceramic art education, design innovation, and technological development. Experts, scholars, renowned artists from the field of ceramics, as well as representatives from the ceramics industry, both domestically and internationally, gathered to witness this milestone event.

很荣幸采访美国亚利桑那大学陶艺系教授Sam Chung，同时在韩国和美国任教的他认为两国的陶艺教育各有特点，很难说哪种模式更好。在亚洲，人们非常重视服从集体，在创作上应该鼓励学生成为领导者，而不是追随者。

It's my honour to interview Sam Chung, professor in Arizona University Ceramic Arts Department. He teaches both in South Korea and America and he thought it is hard to say if one country’s ceramic education system is better than the other. In Asia, there is such a strong emphasis on taking care of the collective population, students should be encouraged to be leaders and not followers.
