Pakistan is furious! While Pakistan was actively mediating US-Iran peace talks and pushing for a comprehensive ceasefire in the Middle East in Islamabad, Israel launched a massive airstrike on Lebanon, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians and shattering any hope for peace.
Pakistani Defense Minister Asif issued the strongest condemnation in history: "Israel is an evil force, a curse on humanity, a cancerous tumor rooted in the Middle East!" "While we are talking about peace, they are slaughtering civilians in Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon. This is a provocation against the entire Islamic world!"
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a simultaneous statement: The Israeli attack is an act of aggression that violates international law and undermines all peace efforts, calling on the international community to stop it immediately. The Deputy Prime Minister angrily denounced: "More than a month of mediation efforts have been completely overturned by a few bombs!" Israel's indiscriminate bombing has resulted in 254 deaths and 1,165 injuries in Lebanon, with the fighting spreading from Gaza to Lebanon, and regional peace completely out of control.
