🎙️ See You in Jakarta | Award-Winning Podcasts Announced for the 2nd Gen Z International Podcast Festival
Since the call for submissions opened, the 2nd Gen Z International Podcast Festival has received 920 podcast entries from 14 countries and regions.
Voices in Chinese, English, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese and other languages have come together through podcasting, creating new opportunities for young creators from different cultural backgrounds to express themselves, exchange ideas and better understand one another.
The festival has also organized two field-creation programmes in Quzhou, Zhejiang, and Xiapu, Fujian. Through on-site visits, cultural experiences and audio storytelling, participating creators explored new ways to introduce Chinese cities and local culture to young audiences around the world.
In September 2026, The 2nd Gen Z International Podcast Festival Awards Ceremony & Global Podcast Crossover and Co-Creation Season will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Podcast creators, media and communication experts, platform representatives and brand partners from China, Indonesia, Thailand and other countries and regions will gather to celebrate outstanding work, exchange ideas and create new cross-cultural podcast content together.

On May 30th, the university roadshow for the 2nd Gen Z International Podcast Festival at Xiamen University successfully wrapped up!

Held alongside the NCA Xiamen Conference's discussions on Global Communication and Global Governance, the event carried forward our core theme, "The Power of Voice and Dialogue," exploring the captivating world of podcasting with the young creators of Xiamen University. Retaining our classic format of thematic presentations and live Q&A, the session was packed with actionable insights and maxed out on creative energy. Together, we deconstructed the podcast industry landscape both at home and abroad, and shared top-tier podcast content.

Building bridges through sound and encouraging in-depth expression, the Gen Z International Podcast Festival empowers young voices to cross borders and resonate globally.

On May 11th, the university roadshow for the 2nd Gen Z International Podcast Festival at Jimei University in Xiamen concluded successfully!

Continuing the core theme of "The Power of Voice and Dialogue," this roadshow sparked engaging conversations about podcasting with the young creators of Jimei University. Retaining our signature format of thematic sharing and interactive Q&A sessions, the event was packed with practical, hands-on skills and overflowing with creative enthusiasm!

Instructor Du Yuanzhi provided step-by-step guidance, covering everything from the current podcast landscape at home and abroad to practical podcast operations. He led the audio enthusiasts of Jimei University in unlocking the ultimate secrets to podcast growth and development.

The on-site atmosphere was vibrant and full of youthful energy. Young podcast lovers shared their show concepts, exchanged insights through inspiring brainstorming, leveled up their skills, and walked away with a highly rewarding experience.

On April 29, the third stop of the campus roadshow of the 2nd Gen Z International Podcast Festival came to a successful conclusion at Xiamen University of Technology.
Centering on the core theme The Power of Voice and Dialogue, this roadshow kicked off an intellectual carnival of podcast creation with students from Xiamen University of Technology.
At the event, Mr. Du Yuanzhi had in-depth exchanges with students on four major themes: global podcast landscape, Chinese podcast development, the Gen Z International Podcast Festival, and practical experience in podcast production.
Students engaged in in-depth discussions over core links such as recording techniques, topic planning and content production. They delved into how to capture subtle story details with sound, explore resonating topics, and inject creative ingenuity into content presentation. Embracing the vibrant and energetic atmosphere of Tianjin Normal University, the roadshow focused on the entire podcast production process, identifying high-quality topics, and offering practical guidance for newcomers entering the field.
